Exactly, if he isn’t, he should be. He needs to know who he can trust and who might be a mere fair weather friend.

Well, 0bama and the Clintons both have enemies lists, so what’s the big deal?

In the fwiw dept, I have a “shtf List.”

Easy to guess who’s on it.

I suspect that the suits will be dropped. There are two requirements for a libel or slander suit to be won. First, the statement must actually be false. Truth is always a defense against libel or slander. The second is that the false statement must cause damage to the person bringing the suit.

At trial, Trump (or more accurately his lawyers, but I’ll just refer to Trump for brevity) would then have two challenges. He would have to prove that the accusations are false. Even assuming they are, that’sno certainty. Given the wrong jury composition, it could be a quite difficult task. Assuming that the jury did believe the accusations are false, Trump must then convince a jury that he was materially harmed by them. Having just won the Presidency despite these accusations, whose intent was to deny him the election, would IMO make that a difficult argument to win. Also Trump would go into court as a wealthy and powerful individual suing women who are neither. That should be irrelevant, but a jury is not likely to be disposed toward sympathy for Trump.

Given that there is a fairly good chance he’d lose the suit, what does he really have to gain by pursuing it? He certainly does not need the money. It was never about money anyway. He is the President whether people believe these women or not. I just don’t see what he gains if he wins. He risks plenty though if he loses. The media would have a field day. We know that they would not report that he failed to prove that the accusers were lying or that he failed to show that he was damaged. The media would spin it that the accusers were vindicated and that his loss proves that the accusations were true. That would just reopen a scandal that pretty much has died down. Why take that risk?

It would be very good for the Republican party, the government, and the nation if President Trump has a giant enemies list, and begins a systematic purge of the party and the government.

The party purge should strip the RINOs, GOP-e, liberals and other scoundrels from any form of party leadership. If after they wish to remain in the party, fine, they cannot really be kicked out. But they should not get another dime of support from the party. Lets their rich, corrupt and onerous friends pay their way in the future, so these rich elitists will have much less money to spend on putting new scoundrels in office.

The government purge is going to need a LOT of help from conservatives. President Trump needs to appoint a whole new batch of federal prosecutors. There are 93 U.S. Attorneys stationed throughout the United States, Puerto Rico, the U.S. Virgin Islands, Guam, and the Northern Mariana Islands. It is typical for a POTUS to fire the other parties prosecutors and hire a completely new batch.

But conservatives need to make it known what federal employees broke the law, so that they can be investigated by these new prosecutors. It is unlikely that all but a few will be tried and convicted or acquitted. But if found to have been involved in criminal behavior, they can be fired, prohibited from government service in the future; and *especially* prohibited from employment by any corporation or NGO that has a federal contract, which is most of them. This last part is the most important.

President Trump will likely need to send legislation to congress to enable stripping these individuals of their Government Service legal protections against being fired or being barred from contractor employment.

After this begins the HUGE task of slashing the size of the federal government and its regulations. Because this is such an IMMENSE task, he will need a large group of corporate hatchet men to do it, slashing and burning large chunks of agencies and firing bureaucrats. They will be a “cabinet within the cabinet” to do this. And most of it will be done with slashing agency budgets in their most offensive and oppressive sections.

Importantly, concurrent with all of the above, President Trump should not immediately discard many of the abuses of the Obama regime. For example, Operation Choke Point, run from the Just Us Department, oppressed legal businesses that the administration didn’t like, such as gun dealers, by coercing banks to not provide them any financial services, thus starving them of loans, deposits, and other services. A truly repugnant thing to do.

But President Trump needs to keep Operation Choke Point, and even enlarge it. Just change who it targets.

For example, imagine if his Justice Department used it to choke Planned Parenthood? NGOs that support radical causes? Corrupt foundations like Teresa Heinz Kerry’s Tides Foundation, and George Soros’ Open Society Foundation?

It would put the screws to the radical left like nothing else, and cripple their efforts to undermine America and its people (as well as the ongoing genocide against black people.)

President Trump should use Operation Choke Point so savagely that the left will do everything in its power to end it, when the time comes. Which President Trump should himself do before leaving office, with congress prohibiting it and things like it in the future.

Good morning.

I appreciate where you are coming from. I would like to agree with you, but over the last 20 years it’s apparent that politics has become a blood sport.

Just ask Valarie Jarrett.

This mental defective does not in any way speak for Trump. His staff needs to get out in front of this and disavow anything she says.

Unfortunately this mental defective had an official position in the Trump campaign and is considered to speak with authority. They would also need to say she's no longer with the campaign.

I agree with you, but it is disgraceful that such slanderous accusations could be made without any fear of repercussions. And it happens all too often, from Romney not paying taxes to this.

“Our turn.
Did we go through all of this just to act like Democrats?”

You know, that’s been the problem with Pubs for years. Lack of a will to fight back, to fight fire with fire. We always stayed above the fray, ... and lost. That is, until we got Trump, a street fighter himself, ready to counter punch, and do it even harder. And, wonder of wonders, look what has happened, we have finally won one.

Trump was ready and willing to get down in the gutter with the dirty fighters on the other side, and lo and behold we pulled out a miracle and he is now the President elect. What is “unigue” to borrow your name, is that this time we used some of the same tactics as the opposition always uses, those good old Alynsky tactics, and turned it against them. If you aren’t willing to fight back tooth and tong, you are going to lose. It’s as simple as that. You don’t fight a battle with one hand tied behind your back.

I forgotten more about battling than you'll ever know.

You win by going after strategic centers of gravity, not by seeking out revenge.

Sorry, Flaglady47 is spot on in her post above.

Like she, I believe in revenge...utilized with sophisticated stilettos, not sledgehammers.

I will meet these Dem radicals, liars, spinners and thugs head-on with whatever tactics fit, even their own tactics...and will get the job done..... while you're still looking for their "centers of gravity"...whatever the heck that means.

In this case the “enemies” are all Republicans, just like the Democrat Enemies list. That is telling.

If Trump forgets any, Free Republic will help him finish the List.

That being said, shut up Amarosa.
