Fox News host Sean Hannity, a close ally of Donald Trump, said Tuesday night that Paul Ryan would not retain his position as House speaker in the next Congress.
"Paul Ryan is not going to be the speaker of the House in January," Hannity said.
"He's not going to be speaker."

Ryan is pure trash. Time to throw him out, now.
Cannot wait to see his fat head gone!
Donald has no authority to “dump” Ryan it is a decision made entirely by the House. I don’t see it replacing him.
Actually I don’t see that at all about Prince Reibus. Not sure why Trump is giving him props as Prius never was honest about supporting Trump. He only came around after seeing the huge rallyies and Trumps influence was undeniable. I only think Rinse Repeatus came around after Trump whittled down the Republican candidates. Before that Trump was no friend of Prince Reibus’s.
I hope for the country’s sake the GOP-e will be drawn and quartered!
Because of Ryan, Wisconsin was close instead of a walk in the park.....
I am with you entirely on LYIN RYAN, DRAIN THE SWAMP this BASTARD has done EVERYTHING he could to BETRAY Mr. Trump’s campaign I DISPISE him!!! He is our SPEAKER OF THE HOUSE for crying out loud not just some congress critter, OUR SPEAKER BETRAYED US, we the people run this government and HE BETRAYED US!!! SCREW HIM!!! I just simply CANT BELIEVE the people of Wisconsin did NOT rid us of this POND SCUM!
Are those chins on Karl Rove or does he have goiter?
You and me both, brother...
Great day, ain’t it...
:^)
Ryan shouldn’t have become speaker to begin with. He has to be replaced with someone decent or we will be cheering another empty victory like we did when Boehner stepped down.
Hannity will be proven wrong on this one. Ryan will be the Speaker of the House come 2017.
I just don’t want to see Trump let his guard down and hire weasels in his administration. If he couldn’t trust them before, it is naive to think they would do a full 180 and even then unless they had a near death experience and changed their live, I’d say a prayer for them and wish them well but not have them potentially infect my administration if I were Trump.

______________
It will happen and Ryan knows it. That’s why he had this about-face press conference today.
He’s trying to change his “stripes.” Won’t work
I’ll probably take heat, but I think it would be the wrong move to replace Ryan as Speaker. We just won the Presidency and Congress, why oust him? He was wrong not to be vocally supportive of Trump. No one is perfect. Paul Ryan is still an intelligent and articulate conservative IMO.
Paul Ryan is no friend.
Not sure if you’re saying what Im thinking you meant. Did you mean because of Ryan’s lack of support for Trump, we barely won WI, but we should have won it easily? If so we agree 100%
He was wrong not to be vocally supportive of Trump. No one is perfect.

He participated in a Republican-establishment-coup (tape). Ryan also publicly chastised Trump during an election hoping he would withdraw from the election.
He’s opposed Trump more than he ever opposed Obama.
We should hope and pray that the GOP House is stronger and more conservatively focused than to choose Ryan as its leader going into the Trump Administration.
If it happens, this is how it should be done and there is some very real anger towards Ryan on his side of the aisle.
My point is simple and people can take it or leave it. As much as I dislike Ryan (guarantee it’s as much as you both dislike him) this is Trump’s decision and it will come at a great cost if he chose to do this. You won and now your party will control government. This is an incredible opportunity!
Why would Trump start a civil war with the 2nd most powerful man in America who is in your own party? Would this not confirm the hysteria about him to his opponents?
Trump has a plan and he will not be shy about implementing it and calling people out who oppose it, but he is going to give people a chance. A President only gets so much coin to spend and you have to spend it wisely. Trump will not go down this road unless they force him to do so after he is in office.
We won! He hit the right notes in his speech last night. Hillary said the right thing today in hers (for the most part). Obama gave a great address from the Oval Office. Ryan said the right things even as I glared at him. McConnell is saying the right stuff and he (shocked me) held his ground on the replacement for Scalia.
We won! This is not the day or the time to pull out the daggers. I won’t forget what Ryan did (he should have listened to Newt), but Trump will give him a chance. He won’t blow his coin on Paul Ryan unless Ryan obstructs his mandate and agenda.
glad to see some people still pissed off and willing to fight the corruption. Just because Trump won, it is no reason just to go back to being complacent since we were stuck with Obama and a do nothing congress. Now we have the White House, the House of Representatives, the Senate AND the Supreme Court. We need to focus on building the wall, enforcing the border, stopping the refugees from radical muslims (hell all muslims until we can vet them), removing Obamacare and refunding those that got fined for not having Obamacare, turning the FBI around to actually do justice and not the dirty work of the Obama/Clinton cartel. etc etc.
