BOSTON (CBS) – Mitt Romney, a critic of Donald Trump who came up short in his own campaign for president, is wishing Trump well after his surprise victory.
“Best wishes for our duly elected president: May his victory speech be his guide and preserving the Republic his aim,” Romney tweeted Wednesday morning.

Blech. Was streaming CNN just after Trump’s victory speech. One of the talking heads said something like, “That was very Presidential. Almost something that maybe a Jeb Bush or Marco Rubio might have said.”
Looking forward to forgetting about Jeb. He is out.
