The Huffington Post announced late Tuesday that it is killing the editor's note in all of stories mentioning Donald Trump which states the Republican nominee is a "racist" and "misogynist," among other allegations.
The website's Washington D.C. bureau chief, Ryan Grim, emailed staffers Tuesday evening about the organization's decision to remove the note. Grim cited the move as part of its plan to commence post-election Trump coverage with a "clean slate."

Unbelievable. Like we’ll forget their “predictions” and other “in-kind” contributions to Clinton’s attempt to steal the election. It’s been so freaky “knowing” from eye witness accounts and photographs that more people wanted Trump than Clinton but every day the steady drip drip drip of “data” from the 4th estate saying their best data people are certain that it’s 98% Hillary all the way, while covering Donald on the entertainment page! Like we will forget!!!!
Pretty crazy to think that I was trailing Trump by only 1.7 points this morning.

It should be interesting to see which networks and groups will be allowed to be part of the press corps and under what circumstances. Suspect there are going to be lots of new rules.
