We’re a bunch knuckle-dragging tabacky-chewing toothless shoeless backwater maroon troglodytes. This is YUGE! The Democrat house has blocked any earnest efforts for reform. Now this state will, get cleaned up and in order. And Bevin is a good man. All the right people hate him.

BTW, I think his victory over the crooked Conway was at or near double digits.

the polls showed the Dem winning, and Bevin won by 3-4 points.

Actually, I think he won by 8.

Woohoo! The Dem corrupt good old boys network in Kentucky is finally broken. Republicans now have governor, senate and house!

If they are McC’s people, they are RINOS; maybe they are Bevin people and conservative.

It ended up being so much of a gain they have a supermajority...amazing considering even with landslides at the top of the ticket they have always, always failed to pick up enough seats to even get to half the chamber...they were hoping this time to just maybe, maybe - pick up 4 seats. They picked up around 17 it appears but some are not final.

McConnell and Bevin worked together on this project. They seem to get along very well at least personally despite how they started.

Oh that reminds me...I’ll have to post a flashback video of Alison Lundergan Grimes at Fancy Farm from last year mocking Republicans saying that Matt Bevin and Donald Trump have one thing in common: They will never hold elected office.
