One of the best ways to identify whats going on in any area is a ground report from the people most familiar with it, thats YOU. If you are voting today perhaps you would consider sharing a ground report from your town, city, neighborhood or voting precinct.
Hows the turnout? Any issues or concerns? Whats the overall climate amid your voting locales. Please feel free to share your personal perspectives in the comment section along with any links to any information you feel might be valuable or interesting. ...

[ The thread over at CTH is a good one and very encouraging. I have FR and CTH open side by side.]
Curious, what is CTH??
Rural north central Texas. Temperatures in the low 60’s with mist and light rain. We voted at a church and when we walked in all of the table voting booths were full. There were no lines but we are out in the sticks so there rarely is unless it is peak time. They said 60 ballots cast in first 1 1/2 hr which is what is generally about what you would expect to see around 11-12 normally.
We in the rural counties just don’t count. We need to vote but even if we all voted for Trump we are overwhelmed by the cities. So sad for us to be ruled against our will as dictated by people who share just about none of our values and certainly none of our way of life.
My granddaughter, a college sophomore, got up early this morning, drove 175 miles from southwest Florida to Pinellas County to vote for Trump. She got back in her car and drove back to school.
Thank her on behalf of the many of us who know every vote counts.
When did this fascination with NC start? I live here. We have positive news with the early vote. I just don’t get it. It has always been OHIO OHIO OHIO............Now NC?
Conservative Tree House, the source link of this thread.
They call themselves “Treepers”! :-)

Great question; Please, Freepers in NC, post some comments, especially as on Glen Beck they said the Mecklenburg County/Charlotte area is Blue not.
Please prove them wrong.
What have you NCers seen so far.
My grandfather had a fabulous German Shepherd who guarded their farm (& kept a really close eye on my Granny in particular). NOBODY messed with that dog ..... he was feared around the entire area. We kids loved him - he liked getting his head rubbed between his ears.
Great looking dog! I’ll bet he really likes his sign! I do!
Southern Vermont here (Grafton). Good amount of people in line at poll opening at 9am. Pretty good for a town of fewer than 700. Wore my red shirt as well. Noticed Trump/Pence was last on the list of five candidates for President - Hillary was first, of course.
Down here in S. AZ, our poll workers let a man wearing a red Make America Great Again hat vote. Pretty laid back attitude; pretty Conservative (Army Post) area.
Unlike 08 and 12, my polling place (MD, very blue van Hollen district) was like a ghost town. No Hillary yard signs at all.
many Christians would never vote for a Mormon...end of story. That’s why the numbers are different today!
HAVE DOG WILL ATTACK!
I just voted.Bucks County PA here.Voted strait R.Had to show ID and there was an armed security guard there. My line was short but the other district line was long.Republican signs beat the Democrat signs 1O to 1.
Huge turnouts and lines everywhere shows me that people are angry: at Hillary, at Comey, at Obama, or just angry, and want to MAGA!
Sec State, but on the ground people following
