I would feel very bad for NC to be under dem rule HOWEVER this race in NC was far to close for the south and maybe NC NEEDS to have their eyes opened to just what DEM rule feels like!!!!

CNN just bumped up to 290, 1 EV from Nebraska. I was mistaken earlier on MN, that went to Crooked. MI and NH still open. Using CNN’s numbers, Trump gets from 290 to 310, depending on how NH (4) and MI (16) go. Trump is up in MI, down in NH. Looks like 306 to me.

We got lucky. Trump ws a good candidate, and I think will be an excellent president. But he did not draw as many votes as I thought he would. We are lucky the DEMs ran Crooked Hillary. She was probably the weakest “viable” (other than being a criminal) candidate the DEMs could have run.
Too many lazy people only get their news from TV and they can’t think for themselves. Searching the truth does take some effort and desire.

Same here. I thought the landslide would be bigger. But I suppose a lot of votes for him were suppressed by the nonstop beatdown by the media and the portrayal of him as being things he is not (white supremacist, sexual predator, etc.). I figured most people would be smart enough to see through the smokescreen that the mainstream media threw up. Apparently not. But fortunately enough people to get him elected.
Now that he's elected, he will have four years to win those people over. I think he will. Once people see him for who he really is, a strong leader and a genuinely decent person, he should be able secure his re-election with overwhelming support - should he desire it.

Just the most obvious. They are ALWAYS this dishonest, but it usually on things where the truth is harder to find, than watching a rally.
If the press had kept its spin off the facts, Trump would have done much better, the tone of the campaigns would have been more substantive. But we will never have an honest press. It is what it is. Just educate people about that, and get them to think for themselves.
I agree. Completely different arena from the election campaign, and when he delivers the goods, and doesn;t BS about what's going on, people will come to accept him as at least well intentioned and capable.
I thought MI was called for Trump.
