The Dems were apparently no better, having rigged it for Hillary.

A Democrat I know says that in their system, delegates elected in the caucuses have their votes for non-Presidential offices recorded (at the subsequent assemblies, etc.), so that caucus attendees can theoretically find out how the delegates they elected actually voted. If this is true, then this is the only case I know of where the Democrats have a better (or at least, less evil) system than the Republicans. On all the occasions when I was a Republican delegate to various assemblies and conventions, I could have cast every vote for Daffy Duck and no one would have ever known.
