A Catholic universitys course on slavery has apparently been updated to include a new threat to African Americans: Donald Trump.
The upper-level history course, Slavery and Abolition Then and Now, will be taught in the spring semester by Prof. John Donoghue, an expert in the Atlantic slave trade.
The description of the course on the class registration website LOCUS says it will introduce students to the long durée of global slavery as a means to convey slaverys ubiquity across time and space.

Because Socialism has served the Black Community so well. Right, Johnnie ?
So do these people even know what “slavery” means? If you may voluntarily leave a bad situation, you are not a “slave”. And ANYONE is free to leave the United States of America, so long as they are not under indictment or awaiting trial, and have not attracted the unfavorable attention of the authorities. They may leave anyway, if they don’t get caught in the process of departing.
Nobody is free to leave Socialism or Islam.
Anything about Irish salvery?
Do they explain why Clintons went to the wedding of such a person or why the networks allowed such a person to have a television show for many years or why so many shows like Oprah, etc. joked around with and invited such a person onto the set? If not, do they explain how so many people didn’t notice or mention racism at all regarding him, not until he was the GOP nominee? Do they explain how he changed from being acceptable and a Democrat or just a sort of middle of the road innocuous person into, as the Dems want to now claim is almost a KKK Grand Wizard? Oh, wait, Harry Byrd must be who they were thinking of. Is HIS long career mentioned at all? More Hysterical than Historical.
It’s a Mostly BS course so I guess they have to fill it up with something.
Hope the white guilt guy is ready to have his salary cut in half when he has to start making payments.
LOL “education” only made these “authors” fools
Universities require students in useful majors to take a certain number of courses outside of their field to make them “better rounded” individuals.
Hence, you see gut courses like introductory geology (”Rocks For Jocks”) that offer high grades with minimal effort.
If it wasn’t for these courses, certain professors wouldn’t have jobs.
This looks to me like another case where a liberal projects his own racist biases onto a scapegoat.
Malignant socialism always needs scapegoats. Malignant socialists always choose successful and independent people to be the scapegoats. And, as we saw most blatantly in WWII Germany, but also in Russia, China, and any other country that has gone down the socialist hell hole, when socialists in power scapegoat people, they torture and kill people.
I pray that Hillary is not elected, because the level of scapegoating coupled with violent intimidation during this election season has been astronomical.
Tis will, of course, include extensive research into child slavery trafficking activities by the Clinton Crime Syndicate.
Funny, then, that more Blacks prefer The Donald to hillary.
Go figure.
Or the Mediterranean or North African slave trade aka muslim slave trade.
It served the demonrat party well... fulfilling Lyndon B. Johnson's prophecy.
Hopefully, with this election, we can cut short Lyndon’s vision of 200 years of Democrat slavery to just 50.
Did they also add a section on Carpetbagging Theft by the CGI/CFF in Haiti after its disaster? Those poor blacks now enslave to a life of hovelment? (yeah, I made that word up).
Leftist “intellectual” fools, can’t see beyond their own idea of “compassion”.
Higher education, keeping the hate going.
Bunch of hand-wringing, pearl clutching, groveling, self-hating apologists who would gladly expose their neck in white-guilt supplication.
“slaverys ubiquity across time and space”
>I presume this means the professor is aware that the US didn’t invent slavery. Instead, the US and other American Republics, joining with the Europeans, and later joined by the Muslim countries, and later by the remaining countries of the world, worked to end slavery.
