this whole early voting, absentee ballot stuff is wrong and rife for fraud.
absentee ballots should be allowed only for overseas military, nobody else (.)period
also get electronics out of voting, only paper ballots.
also require id proving citizenship - like starred DL in georgia.

The Fai Mao 14 point Honest elction program.
1. Purge all Voter registration every 4 years.
2. Voter registration must be done in person. You must present a valid Social Security card and a utility/credit card or a State ID with a photo that matches the address
3. Eliminate both early and absentee voting along with motor voter laws. You have 4 years notice, arrange your schedule.
4. At the election you must show a Social Security card (No photo) and one other proof of ID (Utility bill etc) that verifies your address OR an official State ID with a photo.
These 4 things would reduce fraud by 90%
5. Move elections to a Sunday or make election day a national holiday.
6. Poll are open 24 hours and ballots must be submitted for counting every 8 hours
7. All polls, nationwide open and close at the same time. 12:01AM to 11:59PM Eastern, 11:00PM through 10:59PM Central, 10:00PM through 9:59PM Mountain, 8:00PM through 7:59 PM West Coast.
8. All ballots must be turned in before any can be counted & all ballots must be turned in within 45 minutes of polls closing.
9. There must be a uniformed law enforcement officer present at the close of each precinct to transport ballots to central counting. No precinct gets to count its own ballots.
10. All election results are announced at the same time
11. No electronic ballots.
12. Once the ballots have been turned in no new ballot boxes can be found. Any recount must have the same total number of votes - No new votes can be found in the trunk of a car.
These things will prevent ballot stuffing.
13. Federal elections may not be combined with state elections. States and local municipalities need to hold elections in odd numbered years. The only thing on the ballot in a Federal election are the choices for Congress, Senate and President.
14. Each state shall use the same MECHANICAL voting procedure in each and every polling place.

You are right, of course. But the Democrats will say it is depriving someone somewhere under a rock of their right to vote.
Photo ID for voting should be a Federal requirement especially for Federal elections. The claim that it hinders minorities from voting is stupid. These minorities can come up with ID if it’s required for their freebies. If I were a minority I would be offended to think the government thought I was too stupid to get an ID, a job, or anything else non-minorities can do with no problem. I was required to show photo ID to get my retirement benefits from my previous employer and other things so why can they be protected from the same requirements I have been required to produce?
