No. Although she sounds like she is from the UP. :)

But we are pretty much written off once the primaries are over. Both parties just take it for granted that Detroit is Michigan and just automatically put us in the Democrat column even though we have had a Republican legislator and quite often a Republican Governor.

She was the first one in a long time who was willing to pay any attention to us with the idea that our vote is worth fighting for on a national level.

Detroit and Flint are not the powerhouses they used to be, the Secretary of State has done a great deal to prevent vote fraud.

Donald Trump thought that we were worth fighting for and there is a chance he will take Michigan.

But Sarah was the first.

Have not been up in our Northern neighbor for some years, but, frankly, suspect that Donald Trump will take Michigan by a clear, if not overwhelming margin. We will see on Tuesday!
