This report doesn’t say. It does mention that here were three robbers. That’s good enough. If I’m outnumbered 3 to 1, I’m in fear for my life. I’m almost certainly going to lose that fight and be at the mercy of three people who have demonstrated a willingness to break the law and commit acts of violence. Ergo, I’m in fear for my life and I will be responding with deadly force.
