Hmmmm......"won't be missed".....can have two meanings here (and probably both apply).
I trust you are referring to THOSE WHO GIVE THE ORDERS, who must have "accidents" or simply disappear if any general attempt to disarm us begins.
Personal safety. Not hunting. Not target shooting. Not collecting.
More than twelve million Americans have jumped through the hoops and paid the money to get carry permits, and all reports show that fully a third of those getting those permits are women.
Yes, women. Carrying guns. To protect themselves and their children. The motivation is as personal as it gets — to stay alive and protect offspring, because these women know that the police will not be there when they need them. The assault, abduction, or whatever, will be over before the police arrive.
Democrat don't 'get it' - the hellhole liberal elites have been making isn't just in inner cities anymore it's in most of flyover.
It is here that we get such grotesqueries as "bullet button", "high-capacity ammo clip", "assault weapon", and "gunshow loophole". No one using these terms is conversant enough to understand the issue, hence it is organized ignorance that drives legislation with predictable results. That ignorance tends to be stubborn in the face of contrary evidence, i.e. a shellacking in the voting booth. But don't worry, it'll be back.
For about a year, I have been posting feedback from our younger relatives, who work with or hire the so called blue collar guys/gals.
Their findings correlate with our local gun store owners reporting increased gun sales after each mass slaughter of unarmed Americans, by insane Muslims.
These gun buying people appear/seem to fall into two groups:
1. Previous gun owners, who are buying more guns and ammo.
2. Former non gun owners, who have bought guns after the Islamic terrorists slaughter of innocent Americans here or abroad by Islamic terrorists. This newer group has a new % of women and after Orlando, gay gun buyers.
I agree with most everything in the article except the “secret” part.
I am also particularly fond of Section 16: That religion, or the duty which we owe to our Creator, and the manner of discharging it, can be directed only by reason and conviction, not by force or violence; and therefore all men are equally entitled to the free exercise of religion, according to the dictates of conscience; and that it is the mutual duty of all to practise Christian forbearance, love, and charity toward each other.

I think that every segment of the population is arming up. There’s many things to be concerned about these days.
