Never thought I would see Cruz stumping for Trump. Could it be that Trump is up 14 points in Texas?

This is a VERY big deal. It will really pull in a lot of nevertrumpers.

That’s cool, I can dig it.

This is as important an election as there ever was.

If this slithering woman becomes president, God help us.

Cruz is everything that Kasich is not.

They all signed a pledge to support the Republican nominee. Cruz had no interest in supporting Trump for a number of (understandable) reasons, and he was sorely tempted not to. But I give him credit for pointing out that he'd be betraying his word if he didn't support Trump.

I'd like to see Ted Cruz play a big role in the U.S. Senate with Trump in the White House. Trump is going to need a lot of help to keep him from wandering off the reservation. His supporters have expectations, and he'll need Congress to help him deliver on them.

Cruz was my first choice. Didn’t care for what he did at the convention. Glad to see he is all aboard the Trump Train now.

I’d like to see Gov. Susana Martinez come on board but she’s been quiet and didn’t appear at the Trump rally in ABQ Sunday or at the Pence rally yesterday in Las Cruces. I don’t believe Trump even mentioned her (don’t need to bring up the woman harassment charges that would follow a mention).

From an earlier thread.

Ted gave a rousing speech and was well received by the crowd in Iowa. He was the introductory speaker for Mike Pence at an outdoor event. Cruz stuck almost exclusively to the issues and here are the highlights.

1. 2nd Amendment- Heller decision and importance of SCOTUS.

2. Obamacare disaster for coverage, choice and premiums.

3. IRS abolish it and go with the Flat Tax

4. Hillary’s lies and corruption - met with ‘lock her up’ chants.

5. Radical Islamic terrorism -call it by it’s name.

6. Elect Sen. Chuck Grassley & all Republicans on the ticket.

7. Don’t let Hillary Clinton get back into the WH & GOTV.

No, Trump is actually up a lot more than that.

May now consider voting for Cruz again, although I know that’s exactly why he is doing this. That said, we need the Senate.
