Jump the shark moment for this awards show. Neither act are country.

Blake Shelton and Gwen Stefani performed for Obama in mid-October at a WH state dinner. For the most part my radio stays "off," and I listen to older CDs (of performers who haven't come out as liberals).

I was indifferent to Beyonce until her Superbowl Halftime celebration of terrorists. After that, she joined Barack Hussein on my list of people to be ignored.

There hasn’t been country music since 1980 when most acts ditched the traditional instruments for keyboards and MTV jump-cuts.

Until middle America stops buying their current product because they put on a good “redneck” act on-stage, then you are going to be stuck with this bilge.

Made the mistake of watching a bit of the gala event with the Mrs.. Got up and left when they came on. Told my wife that was a huge FU to country music fans and America in general. She scoffed until I told her to look at her social media. I wasn't alone in my feelings.

Wife and I started to watch CMAs and clicked it after the two lefty snowflake hosts started bashing Trump in their opening monologue. She had a morbid curiousity to see what Beyonce had to do with country music and switched back to watch it. As soon as I saw the Dixie Chicks, I told her to turn that sh*t off!

Country music my ass.

Country has become pop with a fiddle and a vocal harmonizer.

I think country music died when they started doing music videos. You had to be good looking. Lots of them had good voices but the music sucked Iguess you couldn’t sashay around half naked as well with traditional country music.

Patsy Cline could not make it in the music business now. She doesn’t have the look.

What say you?

“Earth shattering”

I think they were worrying about a dangerous concentration of mass.

What say you?”

Probably not. Patsy Cline, the greatest female country singer(and there’s been some great ones)of all time would have ended up working a lunch counter for the rest of her life in today’s Nashville.

Country music genre died with John Micheal Montgonery and Shania Twain. These were the first two that were completely made by the music labels. They both have minimal talent but had the “look”.

To be a singer you used to actually have to be able to sing.
Talent was discovered and then a star was made.
Today labels fabricate thier stars.

Auto-tune is what you hear in concert and on the radio.

Modern country music explained;
Pop stars trying to sing about driving down dirt roads although they never have actually driven on one.

You would think that with Brad Paisley being from West Virginia that he could extricate his head from his rear end and see that his whole state has been thrown over a cliff by Barack Hussein Obama and his shill Hillary. They did after all declare a war on coal and destroy the lives of thousands of West Virginians.
