Country music genre died with John Micheal Montgonery and Shania Twain. These were the first two that were completely made by the music labels. They both have minimal talent but had the “look”.
To be a singer you used to actually have to be able to sing.
Talent was discovered and then a star was made.
Today labels fabricate thier stars.
Auto-tune is what you hear in concert and on the radio.
Modern country music explained;
Pop stars trying to sing about driving down dirt roads although they never have actually driven on one.
***Shania Twain....They both have minimal talent but had the look.***
I realized she had no talent when I saw the cover of her first LP album. It was an overhead shot looking down with her face out of focus, but her cleavage and breasts in very sharp focus. They were NOT selling her music. They were selling her sexuality.
