Live from the country-music capital of the world, its Beyoncé?
That was the case during Wednesday nights Country Music Assn. Awards, where the pop superstar dropped by to perform her song Daddy Lessons with the Dixie Chicks.

Country? Excuse me while I projectile vomit.....
Good country music honors God, family and country.
Country Music now features ghetto chicks with big booties. Who knew?
It also shows you how far Country Music has come that these people want to be on the show.
As for the Dixie Chicks, give them their shot at redemption and see if they do their mea culpas. Otherwise, buy-bye.
Basically, it was an extended bathroom break.

Dixie is racist now!
I watched George Strait and Alan Jackson and then immediately turned back to the World Series
I saw on the news they were making wikileaks jokes and something about a basket of deplorables
Chicks with what....?
Amen.
They made fun of Trump all night long. Not even Charlie Daniels had the guts to slam Hillary.
The worst “Hee-Haw” TV show from the late ‘60’s was 10 times better than this horsecrap from last night.
I want them to leave country music alone. Don't mess with it.
Country music died with “Urban Cowboy”. What we have now is just pop country, IMO.
Watched the first 30-40 minutes. Wasted time.
These performers are as authenticate as a plastic cow hip. This is NOT country music. Beyoncé should get her broad butt off a country music stage.
No doubt. The more recent country styles I hear, well, it ain’t country. Been hearing more and more pop, rock, rap, monologue slipping in. Remind us of other social changes, that little by little drip drip drip of change from what we knew and liked, to something quite different?
There was the classic Hee Jaw moment from Roy Clarkm that was fun. Alan Jackson and George,Straight did very well.
Some socalled news organization called the Dixie Chicks Beyonce set as “earth shattering”. Nope, not even close. It was slightly entertaining but that’s about it.
You have to admit that Chris Stapelton for Male vocalist of the year is a step in the right direction. BTW, last year with Chris Stapelton and Justin Timberlake was earth shattering.
There were a bunch of old timers. Wasn’t that good? I listened to Beyonce from bed. Wife was in there watching it. Couldn’t believe Beyonce was on.
