John Kasich -- and Fellow Republican 'Never Trumpers'

Gov. John Kasich, R-Ohio, just announced his decision.

For his presidential vote on a mail-in ballot, he wrote in the failed 2008 Republican presidential candidate Sen. John McCain, R-Ariz. Apparently, Kasich found Wendell Willkie too difficult to spell.

As for Kasich's voting dilemma, he mirrors the same angst experienced by many of my never-Trump Republican friends. One recently sent me the following email:

"My sons -- early 30s -- are in town. I did not bring up Trump, or push. They know I am politically conservative and lean Republican. They said, Dad, you won't vote for Trump, right? I said, no way. They said, whew. They find him disgusting. I said, right, I raised you well. I said, Hillary is horrible, but she's only there for four years, way better than letting a moron in the White House.

I guess some of Larry's friends are not very bright. I would much prefer a "moron" over an an evil, power-obsessed criminal who will forever trample our liberties with 2 or more Supreme Court picks. The real morons are the Never-Trumpers.

Hillary has promised that she will put millions of illegals on the “path to citizenship” during her first 100 days, and everyone knows that she will effectively invite in millions of others. The long-term Dem plan to PERMANENTLY change the electorate will have come to fruition, and George W. Bush will have been the last Republican President, and no Dem President after that will ever have to put up with a Republican Senate. She’ll stuff the Supreme Court and the lower federal courts with legions of “living Constitution” fanatics, and go to war against the 2nd Amendment.

Sounds to me like Elder’s never-Trump Republican friend is the moron here.

First order of business for President Trump will be to ferret out the quislings within the GOP, whether they be party officials, Senators, House membrers, or Governors. He will not succeed as President if he has to constantly fight a rearguard action against the backstabbers in the GOP.
