“Trump? Why, he’s been running neck and neck with Hilary in a state that should be a slam dunk for the GOP candidate “

Not only is that a lie, you seem to think that Cruz fan boy crap has somehow become ok to start slinging around again.

My advice is to keep that stuff to yourself.

I have been tough on him since the primary, but am glad that he is on board now. Every bit helps.

Most people? Based on FR responses of a hundred keyboard warriors? Count your blessings that other members of Congress support DT, he’ll need them when/if he wins.

I was referring to the voters that made Trump the nominee.

As long as he leaves Glenn Beck in the trunk of his car I’m ok

Has to be an old car; those new ones have a safety latch in 'em. :0)

As for me, I'm willing to give him the benefit of the doubt, and am trusting the Trump campaign who very likely has given this the green light. Let's all just keep our powder dry and see what happens.

Bottom m line, Ted Cruz does NOT need Donald Trump to win in Texas in 2018. Cruz will win without breaking sweat. Ergo, it's silly and idiotic for Trumpbots to suggest Cruz is helping Trump because he needs Trump to win in 2018. He doesn't.

The process is coalescence and is Politics 101

There must be at least one voice to parry the words of Mitch McConnell if necessary

We are deplorable, adorable, despicable, affordable, commendable, redeemable and flexible, BUT, we are NOT "BOTS".

You are a nasty jerk, I thought that smoken that weed made you mellow, it's just making you stupid.

Ergo, that, jagoff.

“Bottom m line, Ted Cruz does NOT need Donald Trump to win in Texas in 2018. “

Well you don’t know what he needs at this point. Its too early.

Dont write checks you can’t cash because people may hold big grudges against him, and 2016 has some big grudges.

He’s taking the first steps in repairing his image though by doing this.

I would like to see Cruz as a Supreme Court Justice nominee.

Nope, A Supreme Court Justice should understand and follow our Constitution even when doing so doesn't give the result he/she personally wants.

Just another step in Ted’s project to rehabilitate his prospects as a future presidential candidate. A purely political move.

I think Cruz is campaigning because he sees he needs Trump to help him win his Senate seat in 2018,

Regarding 2018. I agree with your assessment. Rafael is trying to salvage his Senate seat by using President Trump.
I doubt that it will work, Texans might still remember he omitted mentioning being a Canadian when he ran in 2012. I don't think Texans will forgive that lie of omission.

and hopes to be the Presidential nominee in 2020 or 2024.

Rafael won't be eligible in 2020, 2024, 2028, 2032 or EVER.

Try and recall Ted turning off voters in droves for his own sake.

Try and remember him refusing t concede to Trump.

Try and remember his self serving refusal to endorse Trump at the convention.

Then try to remember his pathetic NeverTrump stance.

Then try to remember his Luke warm endorsement.

Then try to remember him only spending a few moments making calks, this whole campaign to support Trump.

Then try to imagine Ted on stage not mentioning Trump at all or only tepidly.

Whatever Ted does, it will only be for him, not the nation.

I saw keep this mother f——r as far away from the Trump campaign as you can get him.

Trump is doing fine on his own, and frankly, the last thing I want to hear years from now is how Ted campaigned for Trump.

Ted is a political leper.

And that’s his most appealing trait.

I just now noticed the odd look the USAF sergeant is giving him.

Very strange.

“It looks like everyone from Paul Ryan to Ted Cruz wants to be seen supporting Trump now that it looks like Trump is going to win.......I’m not going to make a fuss about it, but I’m not impressed by the show.”
