Some Republican lawmakers seem to be trying to delegitimize a Hillary Clinton presidency before its clear there will be one. They are threatening to block her Supreme Court nominees, investigate her endlessly, or even impeach her.
Perhaps its no surprise in an election in which the GOP nominee, Donald Trump, has branded his opponent Crooked Hillary, and shouts of lock her up! are a staple at his rallies. Few Republicans appear eager to suggest a new era of bipartisan deal-making with a candidate widely seen by GOP voters as untrustworthy.
But the rhetoric is striking because newly elected presidents traditionally enjoy a honeymoon period with Congress and the public.
For Clinton, the honeymoon appears to be over even before its clear she will be elected.

Agree 100%

Don’t forget about a very vast population that is very sick of DC.
I’m thinking about Paul Ryno. He can not be Speaker.
Republicans’ heads are on the block. They have got to shape up.
“... newly elected presidents traditionally enjoy a honeymoon period ...”
Since when do liberals care about tradition?
Block and resist?
Why not lead?
That’s the same plan the Democrats have if Trump wins.
That’d take them being no longer part of the Uniparty.
The notion that the GOP might actually oppose the Democrats gives American Pravda the vapors.
Pretend to block and resist in public, uniparty in private.
Well....we got Obamacare didn't we..?? And we got a lot more laws, rules and regulations the we sure as hell didn't want... And a lot of laws were (are) NOT being enforced that "we the people" really wanted enforced....like at the Mexican border...!
The peoples needs and wants means squat to the elitist left. And it seems the American people no longer have the necessary stones to do anything about it....
