I’m voting on Nov. 8th, just like I’m supposed to. I don’t care what the early voters do.

Combined General and Maryland “Freak State” PING!

Yes. Early voting is part of the swamp that needs to be drained.

I usually vote early, but will be off this time.
My Wife, her two adult daughters, and myself will be standing in line that day.

Gun owners have wanted to vote the bums out since 2013.

Not a fan of early voting, voting by mail, internet voting or anything else that makes fraud easier and cheapens the electoral franchise.

I venture to say the same about Christmas music commencing prior to December 25th each year, but I digress. Whether it’s liberals or laziness, we want it all, we want it now, and we want a monarchy. Let us hasten every process! But let us not pause and pray.

Exactly!

I agree with those on this thread who share that opinion.

“I venture to say the same about Christmas music commencing prior to December 25th each year”

As a musician, and one who is known for improvisation and never playing the same thing twice, Christmas music drives me crazy. It doesn’t put me in the mood, it drives me out of the mood!

Yes. It undermines sanity, too, jazz guy.

Letting the parasites vote is even more travesty. If you take gubmint freebies, you should not be allowed to vote. Period.

Actually, I’m a pedal steel player, and a Rockabilly Punk guitarist! But I do take sort of a Jazz ethics approach. Danny Gatton style.

Understand your sentiment. I’m learning barbershop music now for an early December concert! “It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas” in mid-October (when I began to learn it) just isn’t right! Plus all this talk about snow in the songs. I just moved to Texas. Go figure.

Oh yeah. Danny Gatton. Can’t get better than that when it comes to no-holds-barred live improv. Please Freepmail me so I can check out your band and work. Thanks.

Like Medicare?

I think you should be able to set your vote early, but change it up until the polls close on the day of election.

There are people who for whatever reason can’t make it to the polls on election day.

Let us hasten every process! But let us not pause and pray.
= = = = = = = = =

It is definitely the height of irony—at least hypocrisy

When an anti gun/anti prayer type gets accosted by a ‘bad guy’,
they PRAY that someone
with a GUN
shows up to rescue them..

I have always felt this way. Also I knew the minute I heard about electronic voting that it would be too easy to rig the election. Best hacker wins? Great!

Any and all optional gubmint freebies. Medicare is mandatory for certain age groups, just like obolascare for certain occupation workers, so they don’t count. SS is a mixed bag, but it is a gubmint entitlement, which can be better off without it.

Another group that shouldn’t vote is childless liberals: They will always vote for everyone else’s kids, grandkids, and great-grandkids to pay back their multi-trillion dollar deficits, and also to fight in their wars.
