Emails released by the State Department over the past 18 months show that Huma Abedin frequently handled classified information — suggesting a major reason why the FBI has been eager to get a full look at the personal computer she shared with her now-estranged husband.
That computer has become the center of a major political flap in the final week before Election Day. Ms. Abedin’s boss, former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, is trying to fend off concerns that there is a smoking gun still to be found among her top personal aide’s messages.

Its the center of the campaign... and Hillary can’t shake it off and move on.
That means that an early release of information by the FBI - which she has demanded - will not be helpful to Hillary.
They’re looking for someone(s) to throw under the bus. Comey, Weiner, Huma, Russians, ..., anyone but Hillary.

Well, here’s something we haven’t read here about 49 times in the last two days.
Though the title is likely true, it’s not back up in the text.
So, there’s a chance that “HotBooty16inDecembersoitsOK” has classified emails on her spangled IPhone.
Hey dip shits (WT, not you hot) the smoking gun is that it’s THERE, on a sex addicts laptop. Ugh!
I tell you, it was her insurance policy. Some others have explained how she routed a copy of each of the emails to that laptop automatically.
What’s worse is we dont know yet and they keep putting this story up.
The title goes against the story. They might Suspect she had classified on Weiner’s computer, but they haven’t said definitively.
Like Anthony explained to Huma,
“Relax babe. I made a full backup of your emails. She can’t touch us.”
And filed them appropriately enough, in a folder titled, “Life Insurance.”
How fitting.
I agree. We can assume, but that isn’t proof. We can get a picture painted for us - I think we all have done that too. Don’t know how much can come out with compromising everything.
My bet is that they’re finding emails that were deleted (on other computers & servers) but not on this “life insurance” laptop. LOTS OF THEM!
If that's the case, you don't just have whatever Huma forwarded from the clinton account to the yahoo account ... you have every single email that included huma in any way ... that was ever on the Clinton server.
Anything she was ever cc'd on, bcc'd on every reply ... in other words, you have virtually every email that would implicate the Clinton's in the CGI/RICO stuff. In other words, possible it's essentially a copy of every email on the Clinton server that in any way contained Huma as an address.
That's significantly more dangerous that 'just whatever Huma happened to forward to her yahoo account in order to print from home.
That would explain so many emails.
I Stil secretly hope Weiner was behind this purely as insurance against the Clinton's - I don't know whether it's true that it's all in a folder called 'life insurance.'
It’s an FBI investigation. They can’t tell the public anything until they’ve reached a conclusion AND come to a decision.
I CANT IMAGINE that happening in 7 more days.
This country has hung Americans who committed espionage.
The accomplices are also committing espionage.
How else to make sure they got to the Muslim Brotherhood and not leave tracks on state department computers?
In six days? Not possible.
It will take months just to collate, read and determine what e-mails are pertinent to the investigation.
Given the sheer quantity of e-mails, there’s no way to clear Hillary by the election.
