Fmr U.S. Atty: Comey’s Hand Forced by FBI ‘Seething’ Anger at Botched Hillary Email Investigation

In an exclusive interview with Breitbart News, the former U.S. Attorney for the District of Columbia Joseph DiGenova gave a stark assessment of what led to FBI Director James Comey’s recent decision to reopen the investigation into Hillary Clinton’s use of a private email server, after an investigation into Anthony Weiner’s sexting scandal led to the discovery of thousands of emails on the computer of Weiner’s estranged wife, top Hillary Clinton aide, Huma Abedin. The picture painted by DiGenova, based on what he says are discussions with current and former FBI agents, is one of “seething” rage inside the Bureau at the way Comey handled the investigation concerning Hillary Clinton’s private email server. Mr. DiGenova eviscerated the way Comey conducted his investigation and explained that he believes it has tarnished the FBI director’s reputation permanently, telling Breitbart News:

The original so-called ‘investigation’ was not an investigation. It was not thorough. It was not professional. As far as we know there was no grand jury, which an ordinary investigation would have. There were no grand jury subpoenas, there were no search warrants. Immunities were given out like candy. Attorneys were allowed to represent multiple witnesses and defendants which is completely inconsistent with federal policy and ethical standards. The list is endless.

Well, he didn’t have any choice. He had to send the letter once he was confronted with the evidence of the New York investigation. If he hadn’t sent the letter, there would have been leaks out of New York and he would have been embarrassed. So, he sent the letter because he didn’t have any choice and it’s as simple as that. I mean, they were gonna leak it, and he knew it.

I just heard a radio talk show host delcare that Comey “had gotten RELIGION”:

He was serving his own interests before, he is serving his own interests NOW.

It was abundantly clear his leadership and maybe the whole FBI was about to be overtaken by a Niagara Falls of leaking.

He’s simply trying to harvest a soupcon of credibility. That, and if there’s an ongoing investigation then he can decline to give any specifics of what he’s seeing.

He’d be the VERY FIRST person I’d fire upon ascending the Presidency.

The mere thought he will draw ANY pension after what he has done to this country fills me with disgust.

And later said after their marriage she was still attracted to women. During the mayoral campaign, she was asked about her lesbian lifestyle----she retorted she "didn't understand the question." The Blobbio's honeymooned in Communist Cuba and picked coffee beans w/ Sandinistas (then America's arch-enemies).

The New York Post ran a cartoon depicting the couple in bed, McCray on the phone telling someone, "I used to be a lesbian, but my husband, Bill de Blasio, won me over," while her husband lay beside her clad in sexy lingerie.

This is the same James Comey who was shown to have been compromised with respect to the Clinton family due to the “millions of dollars that [he] accepted from a Clinton Foundation defense contractor, [his] former membership on a Clinton Foundation corporate partner’s board, and his surprising financial relationship with his brother Peter Comey, who works at the law firm that does the Clinton Foundation’s taxes.”

DiGenova, being a former U.S. Attorney, must have really seen red, when any law enforcement official makes a decision regarding a prosecutor’s authority.

Comey was fronting for Lynch - saying that no prosecutor would take the case - when in fact that is Lynch’s job to announce, not Comeys.

That is the clearest evidence that Comey is politically driven, as Lynch was too embarrassed to make the announcement, having been caught at that “unplanned” meeting with Biil on the plane.

Any pilot knows that given the full and precise nature of flight plans, the meetup had to be planned at least days in advance and cleared by the airport, FAA and the hangar operator.

What I don’t get is this: Given the hacking, access, leaks, how does anyone involved think that this scandal, which is far larger than Watergate, is going to stay their little secret????

You can bet the farm that Weiner is going to sing like a bird - Huma is gone and he is looking at multiple felonies for sexting with underage girls.

If Hillary were to get elected, this will cripple her presidency by dominating the news for years.

Any Hillary potential voter ought to know this by now and at least stay home.
