Yesterday, we reported that the FBI has found "tens of thousands of emails" belonging to Huma Adein on Anthony Weiner's computer, raising questions how practical it is that any conclusive finding will be available or made by the FBI in the few days left before the elections
Now, according to the WSJ, it appears that Federal agents are preparing to scour roughly 650,000 emails that, as we reported moments ago were discovered weeks ago on the laptop of Anthony Weiner, to see how many relate to a prior probe of Hillary Clintons email use, as metadata on the device suggests there may be thousands sent to or from the private server that the Democratic nominee used while she was secretary of state, according to people familiar with the matter.
As the WSJ adds, the review will take weeks at a minimum to determine whether those messages are work-related emails between Huma Abedin, a close Clinton aide and the estranged wife of Mr. Weiner, and State Department officials; how many are duplicates of emails already reviewed by the Federal Bureau of Investigation; and whether they include either classified information or important new evidence in the Clinton email probe, which FBI officials call "Midyear."
And, as we further reported earlier today, the FBI has had to await a court order to begin reviewing the emails, because they were uncovered in an unrelated probe of Mr. Weiner, and that order was delayed for reasons that remain unclear.
The punchline: the months of upcoming work means that if Clinton wins the White House, she will likely do so amid at least one ongoing investigation into her inner circle being handled by law-enforcement officials who are deeply divided over how to manage such cases. It also means that Trump will be hounding HIllary for the remainder of the campaign as being the only presidential candidate to seek election with a recently reopened criminal probe hanging over her head.
Looks like they only took part of Cardinal Richelieu's advice: "Never write a letter and never destroy one."
It does, and thank you.
I guess she’d have to admit it if she wants a pardon...but that could be VERY interesting.
You would think by now there would be software to rapidly identify duplicates between 2 sets of email on 2 different devices. I mean, how hard could this be to program?
Just data. And honestly, 650,000 stand alone records? That’s nothing. Peanuts really. It’s not like a multi-dimensional enterprise schema with hundreds of millions of rows. Just put a couple of query experts on it and let them go...
Two weiners, actually...
But, as for the question, of course we may not want to go through it again, but we must, unless governance by criminals is the new norm.
They're Clintons, that what they do.
But if it's insurance you need against crooked politicians, talk to Farmers!
We've seen it all.
For the last 18 years or so, I have had an email service that allows that option : Earthlink.
Saving to the local drive selectively is always an option. If there is a blanket option to save ALL incoming and outgoing emails I am not aware of it. But I haven't really looked into that.
Traces of Hillarys inbox were found on Wieners hard drive.
I can’t believe either of them would be so hard up.
Never mind.
I didn't see a thing!
You bet!
RICO prosecution can be brought by anyone. You and I could do it. It does not require the intervention of the Justice department OR the FBI.
For RICO violations, Shrillary is the most target rich environment I can think of.
if weiner was a eunich we wouldn’t get all the e,mails
for future charges to past actions not for future actions
Yup, four hour exercise to parse them.
Of course.
You missed a zero...

Could Huma have store the backup on a laptop she never turned over the FBI, a laptop that Anthony then synched to his?
Feel like screaming, “Just give me the data and tell me what you’re looking for”. Data is data is data. Easy peasy.
There are several possibilities.
1) Huma was backing up email to a cloud service, unaware that when Anthony “HeyLookAtMy” Weiner was linked up to the same Cloud, everything was also syncing to his computer. So when she cleared off the Cloud and destroyed her devices or turned them over, she was not aware that there was a copy of that folder on the perv’s computer that also needed to be dealt with.
2) Huma the Spy was creating an archive folder of emails for nefarious or insurance purposes and believed that since the computer was her husband’s, it would not fall under the search warrant. This worked until Anthony “I’mHoldinMy” Weiner’s computer fell into the hands of the NYPD during a separate investigation of his hobbies. (I don’t think this is likely because she would have realized the second they came for his computer with a search warrant that she was in deep doo-doo. I believe they were totally blindsided when they learned there was a copy on his device.)
3) [most likely, I believe] Anthony “DoYouWannaSeeMy” Weiner got hold of her email passwords and created an archive folder to utilize as blackmail in case he needed it. He has probably been archiving for several years. The Perv just strikes me as the type who would do exactly that. Who knows, maybe she used his computer to sign into the Clinton server at some point and left it open on his desktop. Maybe she wrote her password on a sticky note. Bingo...access...and he created an archive folder.
4) Some people have also speculated that he installed malware on her devices in order to track her whereabouts. Not sure about that one...is he that tech savvy?
5) Possibility that an Archive Backup function was launched at some point when Huma plugged a device into The Perv’s computer that she only used on occasion.
6) Some other scenario I haven’t thought of yet.
With such a vast number it has me wondering if somehow a backup of the whole Hillary/Huma team’s email accounts was being kept and somehow ended up on the Weiner computer???
Just saying a Microsoft Exchange/Outlook Anywhere type of file storage for Huma’s emails does not seem to account for such a vast number. I know Huma’s a busy lady, but I find it difficult to imagine her creating 100,000 emails per year, even if this email stash covered, say, 2009-2015.
