Weiner hands laptop over to FBI as Clinton keeps her distance

Anthony Weiner is cooperating with feds investigating his sexting scandal — turning over his laptop to the FBI — even as Hillary Clinton has not bothered to ask her top aide, Huma Abedin, what’s on the device she shared with her estranged husband.

The laptop that Weiner may have used for communicating with a 15-year-old North Carolina girl also had emails of Abedin’s that are relevant to the Clinton email investigation.

Fox News’ Bret Baier reported Sunday that Weiner had given that laptop to the FBI — and that therefore a warrant may not be necessary to search the device.

Mook, citing a report that a warrant had not been obtained by the FBI to examine Abedin’s emails, claimed that it’s possible nobody has looked at the emails on the laptop.

But this new report — that Weiner is cooperating and that a warrant may not be necessary — sheds new light on the ongoing scandal with Weiner, Clinton and Abedin.

Chris Wallace announced a bit ago that Weiner was cooperating and willfully turned over the laptop so a warrant was not needed to access the contents.

My understanding is they took the cell phones, computer and lap top from Weiner, The U.S. State Attorney General Bharara ordered them to because of the complaint filed by the underaged girl that Weiner was having sexting with, and the NYPD found the emails...I'm sure Bharara knew what his job was and notified the FBI...the thing the NYPD was doing was finding things on the sexting and wa la this popped up...

Comey, knowing that the FBI was about ready to revolt over his screw up earlier, decided he was going to do things differently and so he notified the people he needed to...

Course Liar Clinton tried to make it sound like Comey only notified the REPUBLICANS but he didn't, he notified all the people that needed to be...

This comes down to lies; fraud; stealing; denial; everything that the Clintons are well known for, I hope they get them this time!!!

But if this laptop and any copies of the data have national security info, like top secret and SAP info, then those agencies cannot hold possession of the laptop or the info because they do not have the full security clearances that would be legal for them to do that.

I read this morning that Abedin supposedly said she didn’t know how the emails got on the computer she shared with the Weiner. Yesterday I read in an article that she said that she forwarded emails to her home computer because Hillary didn’t like viewing them on the phone/computer screen, and wanted printed copies of them. Abedin claims she had problems getting copies of those emails printed at the State Department, and so forwarded them to her home laptop and printed them from there. Whatever her excuse is, it smells to high heavens. I’m just surprised that they haven’t blamed the Russians yet.

Horndog ex-New York congressman Anthony Weiner’s seemingly uncontrollable urge to sext could soon get him indicted, as a federal grand jury mulls charges over his online encounters with an underage girl.

The grand jury is expected to begin hearing evidence about the ousted pol’s explicit communications with the out-of-state teen by the end of the month, a law-enforcement source told The Post on Tuesday.

Legal experts have said Weiner’s latest sexting scandal could get him slapped with a federal charge of sexual exploitation of children, which carries a minimum of 15 years in the slammer and a maximum of 30.

I have watched the Weiner docu/film recently, and Huma features prominently.

I have to say, while no doubt a schemer and no doubt in a marriage of convenience, she in my opinion is no double agent or any of that nonsense.

Huma/Weiner may become the new John Deans.

Whoever rolls over first and tells the FBI the grim realities of the Clintoon Crime Family will walk away with only a minor slap on their wrists. They will become heroes on tv talk shows and will write best seller books on the Clintoon Crime thugs. Weiner's surrendered computer may be the first step for this process for Huma and Weiner.

Those, who are late in the confessional game, will be shredded and bankrupted in the courts and still go to jail.

Trump's new AG will be unmerciful in handing down harsh judgements and sentences to the Clinton Criminal thugs.

I’m not sure if I’ve seen anyone consider this point yet.

If Weiner’s computer has Huma’s emails on it, she’s looking at two (at least) real problems.

1. She already stated, under oath, that she turned over all data on all devices, to the FBI long ago.

2. If anything pertaining to her “work” at State Department actually is on Weiner’s computer, it was never supposed to be there, and she has a big legal problem, aside from the actual content of the emails.

Anything found on Weiner’s computer is another case of mishandling of State Dept communications, classified or not. Isn’t Petreius (SP?) doing time for something very similar?

If Huma sent anything at all to Weiner’s email, for whatever reason, it’s gross negligence all over again. He should never see State Dept communications, especially since we already know some of those communications can be deemed classified later. If she sent anything at all to her home computer, yahoo account, Weiner’s laptop etc, that’s just more indication of mishandling of information in Hillary’s State Dept on a large scale.

Even if nothing came directly from Hillary, which I doubt, this looks like, to my admittedly non legal viewpoint, at least two serious legal problems. Lying under oath, and mishandling of official communications.

So what actual info is involved? I suspect it will get worse once the FBI finds out what the actual content is...

And how will it affect Hillary? Her lead is already crumbling, even according to polls we’re sure are rigged, before this news was released. Voter counts in several states imply that Trump voters are turning out in greater numbers than Hillary voters, voter turnout in general is higher than normal, and of course the panic in Hillary’s corner is leading many to believe she knows she is going under for the third time...
