Tom Fuentes, a former assistant director at the FBI and a CNN analyst, said Saturday that the bureau has an open investigation into the Clinton Foundation.
The statement undermines a report from a team of CNN reporters in August that the Justice Department quashed an investigation into the Clinton family’s non-profit earlier this year.
“The FBI has an intensive investigation ongoing into the Clinton Foundation,” Fuentes said Saturday, citing current and former senior FBI officials as sources.
“The reports that three divisions came in with a request to Washington to open cases and that they were turned down by the Department of Justice, that’s not true,” he said, referring to the CNN report.
“What was turned down was that they be the originating office. Headquarters at the FBI made the determination that the investigation would go forward as a comprehensive unified case and be coordinated,” he added.

Like the Florida Supreme Court (11 Democrats and 1 “independent”) in 2000, which met as hastily as possible to deliver rulings in Algore’s favor, I wonder if the “intensive investigation” will be wrapped up just in time for an 11th hour “surge” for Herself in conjunction with the massive voter fraud already occurring.
Also, just as Big Media and 16 Republican candidates expected only Trump to accept the Republican presidential nominee, I expect the Democrats will (again) refuse to accept the results of the election if Trump wins.
Seems odumbo has restricted any further FBI investigations on the Clinton’s but perhaps their “foundation” is slipping through the cracks.
It’s unbelievable isn’t it. Try to imagine someone running for even a city council position with these kinds of investigations going on, they would be laughed out of existence, but while running for PRESIDENT?? It absolutely boggles the mind. These people are deliberately trying to destroy the country.
I do not understand this repeated “How can she be allowed to run for office?” Anyone that meets constitutional requirements (sorry Lyn’ Ted and Little Marco, you both don’t), can run. The real question is how can anyone be so stupid or hate America so much as to vote for Clinton.
Because the moral corruption and rot in America has gone on for so long and infected the body politic so deeply that the government itself is now nothing more than another form of organized crime.
