From what I’ve heard, they didn’t destroy the devices IN DEFIANCE of their higher-ups in the FBI.

They should be given medals.

I hope and pray that Cheryl Mills is brought to justice as well.

Comey gave immunity to her, even though she was acting as Hillary Clinton's attorney during the e-mail scandal!

Can you imagine being a fly on the wall when Mills learned her laptop has not been destroyed by the FBI?

Comey took them to the lunch room and ran them 3 minutes in the microwave. They are not destroyed, physically, they make good paper weights.

This doesn’t change the fact that Comey is in the tank for the ‘Toons. The email server which was set up to obstruct justice by itself was enough to put Hill in the fed pen for over a decade.

Here is my theory.

Comey has millions in ill gotten gains from Billary.
So he put people he has the goods on to investigate Billary.

Meanwhile the NYPD Special Crimes Unit has an investigation going on on Wiener.

So there is all this evidence that Comey can’t destroy as it is outside his control.

Oh, crap! He has to go public with it.

It is obvious that this is NOT due to serious evidence, or threats to national security because by just setting up the server to obstruct justice that bar was already met.

It has been widely reported the lengths to which Comey was going to destroy all Clinton evidence. So it looks like the rank and file didn’t carry out this egregious illegal action.

Of course we have been hearing about the mutiny in the FBI, so that put more pressue on Comey as well. This is likely worse that we’ve heard. The problem is that Comey cannot fire anyone, as they will go to the press.

When I read about this a while back—that the FBI had destroyed the laptops-my jaw dropped. There’s something fundamentally wrong with LEOs, at any level, destroying evidence pertinent to a criminal investigation, whether part of am immunity deal or not.
It stinks and they knew it. So good on `em.
It sounds like the feebs may be like the Border Patrol and a number of other federal agencies crippled by `Wesley Mouch’-type hack leadership appointed by our figurehead pResident.

How do we know there was actually an immunity deal? And if there was only a promise not to prosecute, WTH would attys advise their clients to cough up their tech? And if that tech is really sitting there, how do we know the clients turned over the authentic/only devices? Who had access to the tech at the FBI? Who was asked to destroy the tech? What happened to personnel who refused to comply? Has the chain of custody for the tech been so compromised, it’s worthless for prosecution purposes?

This is an unholy charlie foxtrot.

If true, this shows how deep the rebellion against Comey goes.

Refusing to follow orders and refusal to live up to a deal made by their superiors is pretty rebellious stuff.

This the best sign that Hillary may yet be indicted that we have seen.

If true, that is proof that there is a rebellion in the FBI. And thusly a rebellion within the US government itself.

Who cares if the laptops were destroyed as long as the hard drives were removed.

I like Mr D, but he doesn’t have a good track record of knowing what is going on anymore at the FBI.

Why should the FBI keep that end of the deal when those who got immunity (from what, no one said) pleaded the fifth when it came time for them to testify?
