Really?? Who had Podesta’s password??
1. Some hacker/joker/spy sent Podesta an e-mail, telling him that the security of his G-Mail account had been compromised, and that he needed to click on a certain link to a website to change his password.
2. Podesta claims that he ran it past his IT people, and they told him to go ahead and do it (this is preposterous, unless Chelsea Clinton's toddler was his IT expert).
3. So he logged onto this rogue website -- which was set up outside his organization for the sole purpose of doing this sort of chicanery on an unsuspecting victim -- and changed his e-mail password for his G-Mail account.
From that point forward, someone outside his organization was free to log onto his G-Mail account using his new password ... and he had no idea that it had been compromised.
