Anger, disbelief in Clinton camp

Hillary Clintons allies were cast into a state of anger and disbelief over the FBIs stunning announcement that it is reviewing new emails pertinent to Clintons use of a private email server.
That shocking development revealed in a letter to Congress by FBI Director James Comey pushed some of Clintons allies past the boiling point.
They said they were dumbfounded by the revelation that the new FBI review may have been spurred by a separate investigation into Anthony Weiner sending lewd texts to a minor. Weiner is separated from wife Huma Abedin, one of Clintons closest aides.
And they worried that Clintons unconventional email arrangement had finally caught up to her and might imperil her presidential bid less than two weeks before Election Day.
I'm livid, actually, one Clinton surrogate told The Hill. This has turned into malpractice. It's an unforced error at this point. I have no idea what Comey is up to but the idea this email issue is popping back up again is outrageous. It never should have occurred in the first place. Someone somewhere should have told her no. And they didn't and now we're all paying the price.

... Democratic strategist Steve McMahon. It violates the Justice Departments rules about engaging in investigations in a way that might impact our democracy. It is extraordinary and very, very surprising. Is that the 'corrupt elites are above the law' rule?

Would that be the episode titled:
#1 The Fixer
Actually someone said on another thread that this could have come from the NYPD special Crimes unit. That means they informed the FBI when they found something but that the FBI is not in charge of the investigation.
If that’s the case the NYPD may have been doing a favor to Rudy G. The NYPD may have a case ready to prosecute. I can hope anyway.

But Trump said “pussy”! He said, “pussy”!!! That was supposed to certify the Beast’s nomination!
Watching the rats scurry to make excuses is hilarious.

Comey cannot really produce something until the investigation reviews the thousands of emails found on the devices. Assuming there were significant emails that triggered reopening the criminal investigation, they are evidence in a criminal case. The FBI cannot really show the to the public during the active investigation prior to reaching a conclusion. They don't have to wait to comb through ALL of them. I would think they saw enough to cause the decision to reopen/readdress the investigation. Hilliary's minions claiming they are merely duplicates shows the desperation they are feeling at this time. No doubt Huma will be blamed for having them on Weiner's computer to start with.
Something that I always wondered about is that even if HRC destroyed all the emails she didn't hand over, she couldn't possibly know the dispositions of them on all the devices of those within the chain (i.e., to, from, cc). Here's hoping this is the October Surprise that forever rids this country of Clinton, Inc.

I would think they saw enough to cause the decision to reopen/readdress the investigation. This is the point of Comey's letter to Congress, withholding judgment until the investigators who requested reopening and were granted said request, come back with the results. The only point to reveal more would be to aid one side or the other in the election, which is against FBI policy.

Someone somewhere should have told her no.
That is also basically the problem with the current regime...nobody ever tells anyone no, and, like a child, keeps getting more brazen.

Good comment, HiTech Redneck.
We really should not gloat. But it is a bit funny. :-)
But you’re absolutely right we cannot get complacent and we can’t judge people. But for maybe a couple of hours we can have a little tiny bit of fun. :-)
We need to vote and pray

Which tells me - and should tell everyone else - that the evidence found IS important, NEW and has major bearing on the whole case as well as being critical enough to NOT hold off telling Congress (and the public by default) until after the election. Hopefully, they will be able to announce some of that evidence quite soon so that the people will have the information they need when they vote rather than the FBI taking another year to vet it all. The information should be incontrovertible and solid so that Hilliary cannot possibly quibble or parse or lie about it again.
