Triggered journalists from across the nation are bemoaning the treatment members of the press are receiving at Trump campaign rallies from the Trump supporters the media routinely misrepresents as ignorant racists, fascist Nazis, or disenchanted working whites.
With increasing regularity, these journalist snowflakes are “reporting” their victimization at the hands Trump supporters who chant mean things like, “CNN sucks” and call them names like “presstitutes.
For members of the media elite, the occasional taunts and jeers signal a dangerous threat to the free press. During an interview with Kellyanne Conway on Tuesday, CNN’s Wolf Blitzer breathlessly asked Trump’s campaign manager to ask Trump to stop calling out the press at his rallies because he is scared “there could be an ugly incident” between Trump supporters and the “hardworking young journalists” who cover his rallies.
A quick review of media stories over the last two weeks reveals more than a dozen articles in major publications with the same “journalists victimized by Trump supporters at rallies” narrative. Trump supporters endure long waits, messy parking, and often obstructed view seating to rally for their candidate. The press, on the other hand, is given their own entrance, sectioned off seating, and protection from event security and the Secret Service.

As a retired newspaperman of 25 years experience, I view these “journalists” who are disgracing my profession as personal enemies.
If Trump, by the grace of God, pulls this thing off, I would happily come out of retirement to join a new political police force investigating the big-time media for treason, doing the job the FBI refuses to do. Say what you want about J. Edgar Hoover — and I’m no fan, believe me — the old tyrant really hated commies.
What could we charge them with? Maybe we need to get a little creative. How about “conspiracy to subvert the U.S. Constitution.”
Wolf Blitzer is right to be afraid. Imprisonment for life would be small payback for what these lying communist scum have done to our beautiful nation.
I’d like to see a few of these whores sent away from Trump rallies with chamber pots emptied over their heads. I respect goat droppings more than I do these pompous liars.

Commenting on the “incredible” media bias this election year, evangelical Pastor Franklin Graham said the “corruption” in both political parties is “unbelieveable” and the media, “along with many politicians from both parties, doesn’t want any of this to change.”
“Isn’t the media bias incredible — especially relating to political candidates?” said Rev. Graham in an Oct. 24 post on Facebook. “Geraldo Rivera said last night that it’s like nothing he’s ever seen.”
“They spin story after story against the candidates they don’t like and in favor of the candidates they support,” he said. “I hope and pray that Christians are not deceived by the media’s bias, but will give prayerful consideration as they go to the polls and vote.”
“Our political system in this country is broken,” said Rev. Graham. “The corruption is in both parties and is unbelievable. The media, along with many politicians from both parties, doesn’t want any of this to change.”
“As I went to all 50 states this year and stood on the capitol steps with Christians from every state, we prayed and confessed our sins to God,” he said. “We asked His forgiveness and asked Him to heal this land. My prayer is that you will continue to pray, and that you will vote.”

Once WikiLeaks unveiled back in late July 2016 the direct link between the Clinton campaign and several big media organizations, the trust in the media has fallen through the floor. Journalists by definition are suppose to report the news, not make news.
The late A. M. Rosenthal--perhaps the best Editor-in-Chief the New York Times ever had--would be rolling over in his grave over the state of journalism today, which is more or less the 2016 equivalent of the Soviet-era Pravda.
