If Donald Trump were president, there'd be a lot more places like D.G. Yuengling & Son, the Pottsville, Schuylkill County-based brewing company.

So said Eric Trump, son of the Republican Party nominee for president, Monday during a whistle-stop tour of Yuengling's brewery in East Norwegian Township.

Tuesday October 25, 2016 12:01 AM Trump son tours Yuengling brewery in Schuylkill County By Ron Devlin EAST NORWEGIAN TOWNSHIP, PA If Donald Trump were president, there'd be a lot more places like D.G. Yuengling & Son, the Pottsville, Schuylkill County-based brewing company.

So said Eric Trump, son of the Republican Party nominee for president, Monday during a whistle-stop tour of Yuengling's brewery in East Norwegian Township. TODAY'S SPONSOR:

"This is an amazing American success story," Trump said during a brief news conference at the brewery. "We need a lot more of these." Escorted by Richard "Dick" Yuengling Jr., the fifth-generation scion of the oldest brewer in America, Trump toured the brewery with a small group that included Schuylkill County GOP leaders. News reporters were excluded from the tour of the plant. Trump's visit, which lasted about 45 minutes, was part of a daylong tour of central and northeastern Pennsylvania. Earlier, Trump visited the state Capitol and spoke to a Fraternal Order of Police lodge in Harrisburg. Later Monday, he was to speak to a four-county gathering of Republican leaders in Scranton. Analysts say that winning Pennsylvania, a battleground state, is critical to Donald Trump winning the Nov. 8 presidential election. Eric Trump predicted his father would win Pennsylvania based on a message that resonates with workers like those at Yuengling, a long established business that has been in Schuylkill County since 1829. "Because of a great company like Yuengling," Trump said, "workers can educate their kids and live a prosperous lifestyle." Trump said high taxes, over-regulation and Obamacare are "destroying" American businesses - a familiar theme of the Trump campaign. "My father's going to make it a lot easier for business to function," he declared. "We're going to do it right here in the U.S." Dick Yuengling welcomed Trump, thanking him for taking the time to visit the brewery. "Our guys are behind your father," Yuengling said. "We need him in there."

State?

Pottsville, Pennsylvania.

From the Wikipedia:

D. G. Yuengling & Son is the oldest operating brewing company in the United States, established in 1829. It is one of the largest breweries by volume in the country. Based on sales in 2011, Yuengling was tied with the Boston Beer Company, maker of Samuel Adams brands, as the largest American-owned brewery.[2] Its headquarters are in Pottsville, Pennsylvania.[3] Yuengling produces about 2.8 million barrels annually, operating two Pennsylvania facilities and a brewery in Tampa, Florida.

Yuengling is pronounced Listeni/ˈjɪŋlɪŋ/ YING-ling, and is an Anglicized version of Jüngling, its founder's surname and the German term for "young man".

The family-owned brewery has traditionally changed ownership through the purchase of the company by the offspring of the previous owner.[4] Due to the popularity of Yuengling Traditional Lager in Pennsylvania and the Delaware Valley (including South Jersey), it can be ordered by simply asking for a lager.[5][6]

Of course the state should have been clearly mentioned at the top, as it should on any thread referring to some location unknown to most of us, or one where they are probably one town or county with that name in every state. It wouldn’t have taken much extra time to have included it, would it, “Dude”?

Schuylkill County, Pennsylvania

Actually, I found this video to be fascinating. The history of the old brewery, the great old photographs, the wonderful German immigrant work ethic passed down through the generations up to today. And the pride of both the workers and the owners in their product, is heartwarming. I recommend watching this video to everyone. You will enjoy it immensely. I sure did. Too bad I don’t drink beer, lol.

They do though I didn’t like it as much as the regular. I have toured the Yuengling brewery in Penn.

Been drinking Yuengling for probably about 20+ years now. The most flavorful domestic beer out there, Trump or no Trump. But if Trump doesn’t win, I suspect I’ll be drinking a lot more of it. That or just go straight to the liquor cabinet....

I made Yuengling my choice after reading up on the company some time ago. I wanted an American beer and I also like a lager.

They made it to Louisiana this past August, so they’re right next door to you now. I’m sure Texas is high on the list for territory expansion.
