In Recognition of Intersex Awareness Day
Press Statement John Kirby Assistant Secretary and Department Spokesperson, Bureau of Public Affairs Washington, DC October 26, 2016

On the occasion of Intersex Awareness Day, the United States stands in solidarity with intersex persons around the world.
We recognize that intersex persons face violence, discrimination, stigma, harassment, and persecution on account of their sex characteristics, which do not fit binary notions of typical male or female bodies.
Intersex persons routinely face forced medical surgeries that are conducted at a young age without free or informed consent. These interventions jeopardize their physical integrity and ability to live free.
The United States is a proud and founding member of the Equal Rights Coalition, a recently established Coalition of 31 governments that aims to strengthen cooperation to advance the human rights of, and support inclusive development for all persons regardless of sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, and sex characteristics. We hope this Coalition will work to share best practices and to jointly address challenges in support of the human rights of intersex persons.
Through the Global Equality Fund, the United States, together with the Funds 25 government, foundation, and business partners, are supporting new efforts of the intersex community to mobilize and organize, with the goals of increasing awareness of and support for intersex persons and their human rights. The Fund was launched in 2011 to support civil society in their efforts to advance human rights and uphold dignity for all.
On Intersex Awareness Day, we are reminded that all people everywhere are created equal and should be afforded equal dignity and respect, regardless of sex characteristics. We look forward to continued cooperation with civil society, like-minded governments, and others to advance the human rights of intersex persons.
Excellent point.
“regardless of sex characteristics.”
Homo are gross! What’s next, we’re supposed to accept doods humping sheep? Oh, wait, Obama has already said that.
[Intersex Awareness Day]
WE THE PEOPLE we must reclaim our vocabulary.
INTERSEX is not a word. INTERSEX is perversion.
It’s a birth defect.
Intersex that seems like a new word. Does it mean the same as transgender?”
No. These are hermaphrodites.
Hmmm. Check the DNA and fix the wrong part.
All others that claim another gender should check their DNA for a Y chromosome. If it’s missing, they are female. If it’s present, they are male.
Case solved scientifically. Mental health seems to really be the issue.
Bingo!
It refers to a medical condition.
Or, “He was an admiral? That fruity little man?”
Intersex?
Is that what the homos do at the Rest Stops on the Interstates?.......
Is that what the homos do at the Rest Stops on the Interstates?................
You know, 20, 30 years ago, I had a tolerant live-and-let-live attitude to the whole "LGBTQ etc etc etc" movement. They more-or-less left me alone. I didn't care about their personal mental problems, so long as they left me alone.
Fast forward to now. All in the name of "Awareness", they've gone from "tolerance and live-and-let-live", to "Celebrate my diversity", to "Give me access to your children or I will ruin you, because I can".
I think that it's safe to say I'm aware now. Fully paying attention. 100% informed and in-the-know. My guess is that I'm not the only one, either.
Soon, if it isn't already happening, the entire LGBTQ lobby will wish that we could go back to "tolerance" again. We'll see.
“Intersex” really isn’t a new word, it used to describe sufferers of hermaphroditism or other birth defects involving reproductive organs.
But of course, the Cultural Marxists that are using polymorphous perversity as a tool to break down American Judeo-Christian values have latched onto it, in the same way that they used homosexuality. They declare that individuals who choose to crossdress and fantasize about being the opposite sex are suffering from intersexuality, which is inborn - i.e. “born that way”.
Thanks.

What in the world is an intersex person?
Thank you. I’d never heard the term before.
Confusion Awareness Day
No. Actually, it means real, physical anomalies in a person’s genitalia (and sometimes their chromosomes as well). But, while it is absolutely a real condition (or range of conditions — the physical deformities are legion), I cannot understand why this is being politicized to the extent that it is. It seems now that everything is a political issue. It’s maddening.
Sometimes you feel like a nut, sometimes you don’t. Almond Joy’s got nuts, Mounds don’t.
There is a rare thing called Intersex when a baby is born. Usually the doctors can see which is best and yes they fix it then if they can. So this announcement is not news. Other than in how it reveals a startling lack
Of understanding and caring for these children. These rare birth conditions are quite real and are not to be confused with psychological illness or Obama s “let’s have the Marines all dress up in pretty pink lace and play with dolls” campaign.
