HIGH POINT, N.C. -- Clarence Henderson was hailed as a hero nearly 60 years ago when as a young black man he participated in a sit-in at a segregated North Carolina lunch counter.
In 2016, he is again taking a risky stand; he is supporting Donald Trump.

He says this: “”I would rather be in the minority on the side of justice than in the majority on the side of injustice, because I have lived a life where I saw there was injustice,” he said.”

Common Sense, is rarely reported these days.
Mr. Henderson is proving common sense and conviction to principles is not always the easy route, hoorah Mr. Henderson!
The Plantation is displeased...
Mr. Henderson has so much more courage than Paul Ryan.
Takes a stand for Trump and backs it up with thoughtful, well reasoned arguments.
Welcome aboard, Mr Henderson!
Mr Henderson, this deplorable teen thanks you for what you did in the 60s, so my friend (a black) and I (white) can eat together and for today, for voting for Trump.
An elderly black gentleman came into our office last week and said that he was voting for Trump. He’d been a Democrat his entire life and wanted a savvy businessman in the White House. He said Hillary didn’t have the stamina for the job.

For many years I chose to get my local news from WRAL-TV which is in the Raleigh Durham area. However, they have become way too liberal now - cannot stomach them.
WTVD-11 is their competitor in the region and now I watch them almost exclusively because they appear to be much more “fair and balanced”. So, I was not surprised that they would have this story on their website while WRAL would never do so.
Agreed. He has a lot of GUMPTION (an old term for courage).
Nice to hear.
Well said!
