If her frank critique of frankness proves to be more of a political nonevent than a bombshell, as has been the case to date, that will be for a good reason: Most of us know she is right, even if we don’t admit it.

Right. In politics, hypocrisy and doublespeak are tools. They can be used nefariously, illegally or for personal gain, as when President Richard M. Nixon denied Watergate complicity, but they can also be used for legitimate public purposes, such as trying to prevent a civil war, as in Lincoln’s case, or trying to protect American prestige and security, as when President Dwight D. Eisenhower denied that the Soviet Union had shot down a United States spy plane.

When charged by Stephen Douglas with being two-faced, Abraham Lincoln replied not with a denial but with a quip (“If I had another face, do you think I would wear this one?”) …That is a denial, Mr. Rauch. Of course, Brookings sodomite sickos really don’t try to conceal their lies.

The way I see it, this whole 2016 election process has been nothing more than a textbook example of how to get a Democrat in the White House who supports 95% of the Republican agenda of the last 25+ years.

WOW! Just when you think they had run out of prostitutional positions, the whore that the Slimes is manages to contort itself into a new one.
In that monster of a sentence the Slimes manages:
1. to justify and LAUD a politician for being two faced
2. dismiss the prima facea evidence provided by wikileaks
3. purposefully cover up all the evidence by not covering it in order to make it appear a non-event and then have the gall to call it an non-event
If Hillary had murdered someone the Slimes would find a way to justify it and praise her for it. It is how repugnant the propaganda organs have become.
It’s awfully damned decent of the NY Slimes to admit that they fully endorse lying to you in order to manipulate - not that we weren’t already acutely aware.
This turns my stomach. His grandparents must be so proud.
They probably used some of the same paragraphs they used back in 1997 or so when they told us that lying is just part of human nature and we shouldn’t get so worked up about it.
