Hillary Clinton is quietly reaching out to Republicans
CNN ^ | Oct. 23, 2016 | John King

Hillary Clinton insists she takes nothing for granted and will campaign to the end as if she were the underdog.

But there are increasing signs of her confidence, including devoting more time in her speeches to trying to help Democratic candidates for Senate and other offices.

CNN's Jeff Zeleny shares his reporting on her quiet, private outreach to Senate Republicans as Clinton allows herself to look ahead at the prospect of trying to govern.

"I'm told she's been talking to Republican senators, old allies and new, saying that she is willing to work with them and govern. On the campaign trail she clings very closely to President Obama. She needs him to win the election," Zeleny says. "But she also is signaling she will be a different kind of president. She will work with (Republicans). She wants to have an open-door policy."

Any Republican who ends up voting for and/or supporting Hillary should first admit that they are not Republicans, reregister and declare themselves to be Democrats.

Even many actual Democrats are supporting Trump.

Ted Cruz. They have a lot in common already.

Maybe Paul Ryan.

Maybe her internal numbers are good. There’s got to be something to this story for a FReeper to post it.

Oh please!!!

Hillary wants to work with Republicans???

Hillary has publicly said that she considers Republicans the enemy.

Hillary is an Alinskyite liberal. Hillary does not believe in compromise or working across the aisle or triangulating or any of that. She believes in conquest of the enemy, not any sort of collaboration.

Hillary doesn’t “quietly” do anything. That shrill, horrible voice peels paint.

I have no doubt the beta’s masquerading as GOP ‘leadership’ such as Ryan, Cruz, Mclame and Jeb Jeb Bush will be supporting Hellary.

The Republican party is dead to me. Regardless of the result this November, it must be burnt to the ground

Ordinarily yes, but in her case what she means is that she is ready to cut them in on the bribe monies.

These would be the “fiscally conservative, socially liberal” Republicans who believe in low taxes for the rich, open borders for cheap labor, the right to sign trade deals with foreign governments and claim foreign headquarters to reduce their taxes, while supporting same-sex marriage, abortion, and multi-sex bathrooms. These are the people who should be driven from every official post in the party, and if that isn’t successful, a new Conservative Party should be organized for reformers who believe in the Constitution.
