Donald Trump expanded his lead over Hillary Clinton in a four-way race to two points, 42%-40%, in day 4 of the IBD/TIPP presidential tracking poll, with Trump moving past his Democratic rival in a head-to-head match-up for the first time.....
Meanwhile, in a 2-way race, Trump leads Clinton by a half-point -- 42.2% to 41.7%. Previously, Clinton had led by two or three points in a 2-way race vs. Trump.

Thank you so much! You put it in a nutshell so that even a dope like me can understand. I’m going to share this with my husband who is smarter but equally confused.
Salamander
Salamander sorry meant to include you on that.
In battleground states, I doubt those two pull any more than 5% combined.
Great news !
GO PRESIDENT TRUMP !!!
Depends on the millennials and late gen xer - a lot of them don’t feel as tied to the two parties. But you could be right.
LOL!!!!!
Fox News lead this AM:
“Trump behind 7 points in polls - prospects dim with 2 weeks to go before election.”
Let’s hope it’s true.
The future of America depends utterly on a Trump victory.
One of the many reasons I don’t watch Fox and haven’t in a long time. It always just seemed to shill for the GOPe. Plus I think historically their ratings are better when a D is president vs R so financially they are better off being the opposition TV.
>>What does day 4 mean? Is this a new poll?
It have been done for several election cycles. It was the most accurate poll in 2012. If I recall correctly, the poll is a tracking poll done every day for three weeks prior to the election.
“In a Gallup poll of October 26th in 1980, they had Jimmy Carter 47, Ronald Reagan 39.”
And the final was Reagan 50%, Carter 41%. I’ve never looked at polls since. The communist media was using polls to skew public perception at least since then.
Yes, that is my understanding, as well.
I'd rather see Trump ahead by 2 in the "best" poll from 2012 than behind by 8 as Reagan was at this point in 1980. Trump has been outspent about 5:1 on ads so far. It will be interesting to see what happens when he spends nearly the same amount.
We will find out, "in the fullness of rime"!
Trump’s “rigged” approach resonates. Because people can see that it’s true.
However, anyone who doesn’t think the other side doesn’t have a few more “October surprises” ready to go are being naive. Don’t forget, they dropped the “Bush drunk driving” fake story 4 days before the election of 2000.
We have 2 1/2 weeks to go in this election - plenty of time for the criminals (and the DNC kneepads media) to steal this.
This is why I only watch Hannity and occasionally F&F on Fox News. Found Fox Business and One America News fill my TV viewing. FNC joined CNN and MSNBC on my don’t watch list. Too bad for them!
Just what I expected.
They didn’t how I voted and they don’t care.
No wonder they have such contempt for us.
When this election is over, will CLINTON accept the results? If not, she will be threatening American Democracy!
Judge Jeanine on Saturday night is another good one on Fox. Other than her and Hannity I watch Fox Business, especially Lou Dobbs, my favorite.
