I went over to Las Vegas Trump headquarters near McCarran Airport this morning to hang with the "deplorables" (Trump volunteers) and see what they were thinking on the eve of the Great Debate.
It was a relatively—though far from completely—geriatric crowd because this is Vegas, where Southern Californians go to die with their faces in the slot machines (okay, not always). But for a group of oldsters, they were remarkably upbeat and optimistic. And for supposedly low-info "deplorables," remarkably well informed.
To begin with, I have some bad news for Fox News. They're on to your game. On two occasions the people there were relieved I didn't work for Fox. They think Fox is finito commedia as far as conservatism is concerned and Megyn Kelly, in particular, is the object of considerable disdain, which I gather has been reflected in her ratings of late.

Except, Hannity, Dobbs, Cavuto and Varney.
Sean, Jesse, and all the blonde girls are the only thing watchable on FNC.

I watched on CSPAN. No FOX at all last night, because every time I flipped over to it, there was Me-again, and I flipped on past.

The sentence makes it sound like a group of oldsters were not upbeat and optimistic but the non-oldsters were upbeat and optimistic.
Exact opposite of what he wanted to communicate.

Hannity only on Fox News. On the business side almost all are acceptable. Dobbs is da man.

They give Trump & his family and surrogates a fair shake. Always.
There are a lot of anecdotes from Trump’s life long before politics that paint him in an incredibly good light. I have some links at home I wish I could post for you.

“though far from completely” referring to the group as being far from completely geriatric.
I know one of Trump’s old girlfriends. Trump was nothing but a gentleman and despite efforts to paint it differently by the media, this woman is a full throated supporter of Trump. Says he’s a very good man and incredibly generous!
