My greatest fear in regard to the election, a Trump presidency, is not going happen. But my second greatest fear, a Clinton presidency, may well happen. As a voter in safe blue New York I can have no impact on the formerbut I can use my vote to influence the latter.
It is very possible that voting for Trump as a protest against Clinton is the best chance I have to stave off a Clinton administration that runs roughshod over the American people and points to us saying, This is what you asked for. I understand that maybe a historic landslide is some redemption for the Never Trump GOP. I get that it might, but only might, push Trumps base toward a more reasonable option in 2020.
That said, a message needs to be sent to Hillary Clinton, Democrats, and the media. For her to enter the White House with a huge mandate is unacceptable. Her flouting of the law, her disregard for the Constitution, the government and medias unwillingness to hold her accountable for anything, all compel me to send a message with my vote that I do not consent.
The Election Of Repudiation It is well-documented that the 2016 election features by far the two most unlikable candidates in modern history.... Democrats largely fallen in line behind their flawed nominee.
A message needs to be sent to Hillary Clinton, the Democrats, and the media. .... The WikiLeaks emails showing incredible and troubling coordination between her candidacy and the Department of Justice, the media and corporations, have been all but ignored because of Trumps obscene video leak. Curiously, like clockwork, every time a damaging revelation about Clinton appears, something worse, or at least more salacious, about Trump takes center stage.

Time to face the music after all the damage the neverTrumpers have done in this election. In terms of loss of moral, loyalty, manpower, cohesiveness, and money, the neverTrumpers could very well hand HRC the presidency.
So a never Trumper is finally deciding to vote for Trump as a protest vote of sorts. Hopefully he has friends that think the same.
If H wins by one vote she will declare she has a mandate from the people for all her lawlessness, past and future.
The article is disjointed, contradictory mewlings.
Trump would go into inauguration day with the requisite number of congressional votes to impeach him for so much as sneezing the wrong way. Most would anyway before he even takes his jacket off.
Hillary would enter with her party, the bureaucracy, and the FBI director uniformly behind her no matter what criminal behavior she’s done or will continue.
If you’re on the fence about whom to vote for, that’s all you need to know. It’s either checks and balances to the max or none. Your choice.
Did anybody not know this?
I think this is a great idea. It gives the nevertrumpers a face-saving way to back down, if they want to take it.
We won’t forget, though.
Yes.
I am supposed to be respectfully grateful to such a treacherous entity?
My vote for Trump is not a reluctant, condescending protest vote. It is the first vote I have enthusiastically given to a Republican in thirty years!
