Carlin was a religion basher and liberal. Don't care for that. But he is funny in this routine and sounds a lot like Trump, albeit more foul-mouthed. But what's most funny is that the fans of his comedy have most likely transformed into the obedient libs propping up the establishment and everything Carlin mocks in this video.

This is exactly right. The majority of them hear ‘government sucks’ and think it somehow only applies to Republican politicians because liberals are the ‘good guys’.

“liberals are the ‘good guys”

Well, like Rush says, it’s hard to compete with Santa Claus.

Except when you find out that Santa Claus and the Easter Bunny were lies.

George Carlin was liberal but funny when he was younger. As he aged he became a bitter, grumpy, unfunny old man.

What’s more, it has always been that way, ever since before the beginning

Disagree. He doesn’t sound like Trump. He sounds like a liberal attack dog. And the idiocy of it is that he is blaming the GOP by singling out their programs to identify the failure of liberal programs that have hijacked public education through federal government bureaucracy right off the git go in the program. The flag, the bible, no child left behind, and blaming the whole mess on the rich.

And when you consider that the people he is leaving out, the libs, have been attacking these groups or things for over 70 years, it all matches up. Just another lie to attack this country. The one that allows him to do so.

“They don’t want a population of citizens capable of critical thinking. They don’t want well-informed, well-educated people capable of critical thinking.”

Whatever transparency there is comes from well-informed critical thinkers’ ability to see through the bullshit.

I’ve always thought his death was suspicious.

I gotta disagree specifcally, but not generally. Generally he does sound like a liberal-anarchist attack dog. But Carlin never makes reference to Republicans or conservatives. He simply states the system is rigged. The real owners of the America control the media, the politicians, etc. Politicians are bought and paid for. In this election we now see this crosses party lines.

The beauty of the con is that everyone thinks it's the other side's fault. Keeps us voting for the bought and paid for R's and D's.

I hate the Rats, but I can’t say the Pubbies have covered themselves in glory in the last 30 years or so.

If Carlin were still alive I wonder if he would be smart enough to see that the Democrats have become THE party of Corporate America...

I used to think all this kind of stuff, like the "Uniparty", was all crackpot conspiracy theory stuff.

Until about 2 years after Bush left office.

It dawned on me that absolutely nothing "conservative" was accomplished during his tenure...

... he let the Clintons completely skate on all their scandals of the 90s,

... left the southern border wide open and illegal immigration exploded,

... and pretty much single-handedly destroyed the Conservative movement and the Republican party.

Then he disappeared into the sunset. He hasn't contributed to the Conservative cause or the Republican party a bit since he left.

And all his aides and advisors were exposed over the years as libs and globalists.

It just occurred to me one day that "Wow, that guy Bush wasn't on our side at all!"

There’s some exaggeration to that. Actual policies out of the Bush White House tended to the conservative side, definitely as compared to Clinton’s.
