Remember Wendy Davis? She was the Texas Democrat who became an MSM darling for her filibuster against a state law restricting abortions. Davis exploited her 15-minutes of fame by running for Governor of Texas in 2014. But despite the backing of an adoring press, Davis got demolished, losing by more than 20 points to Greg Abbott. For the record, my home county of Hood showed its scorn by awarding Davis all of . . . 18.9% of the vote.
So when on todays Morning Joe, Politico co-founder Jim VandeHei claimed that Hillary Clinton is so far ahead that she has a better shot at winning Texas than Trump has of winning the presidency, this adopted Texan had to laugh.

Either they are really trying to expand their map or they’re simply out there to present an illusion of inevitability in an effort to swindle more cash for the final push.
I’ll stick to my gut instinct that Hillary is a disaster for the Dems this time around and that the late 1960s are dying right in front of us. They could very well be doing this for the optics and nothing more. Nobody ever telegraphs strategy and internal polling to the public.
Uhhhh....no.
Thanks for that. That name sounds familiar.
Cant remember the others
I think we can safely assume that virtually everyone working in media is some sort of Democrat operative/activist.
FEAR
I’d like to believe with all my heart you are right, but that’s not what is showing on the nightly news and across the Web with the electoral college maps.
I think she's running those ads to help down ballot candidates in districts where they have a chance. I was in San Antonio a week ago and the local stations were running ads against republican candidates accusing them of being Trump supporters.
Does MSNBC does anything but giddily sit around discussing how great they think Hillary is doing? Every morning it seems.
Wake up BroJoeK! Wake up! Wake up!
The media is "overwhelmingly owned out of New York" for a reason, and BroJoeK, you know exactly what that reason is, though you are dead set against admitting it.
The media does what is in the best financial interests of the Washington/New York power corridor. It is explicitly Liberal because the Washington/New York power corridor makes more money with Liberal government policies. (such as eternal deficit spending)
And yes, Los Angeles is a player too, though not as significant as New York, which has been the center of power in this nation since just prior to the Civil War.
New York runs the "news" media, and Los Angeles runs the "entertainment" media, and they both feed propaganda intravenously into the airwaves.
I live in North Texas.
I have seen one Hillary bumper sticker and about 3 Trump bumper stickers.
This week I am on the south coast of Texas. On the drive down through the I 77 center of Texas I could not keep count of how many Trump Pence yard signs because there were so many. I saw. No Hillary anything.
I also live in North Texas and spent the weekend on S. Padre!
Word for the day is ILLEGAL VOTING.
I hope I’m right too ...

...”Id like to believe with all my heart you are right, but thats not what is showing on the nightly news and across the Web with the electoral college maps.”...
I know, but I remember so clearly the very day I went to vote for Ronald Reagan, I did it while very depressed because the media was saying that the polls showed that Jimmy Carter would win in a landslide. It was, instead, just the opposite. Reagan won in a landslide. It makes me sick to watch the media declare that they know how every voter in this nation is going to vote. I know so many people who are staying very quiet because they feel intimidated and afraid to let their intentions be known and I am sure no pollster has access to those intentions. If the media knows how the vote is going to go, then there is only one way they know that and it is through their knowledge of the corruption and fraud already set up to go. If I were asked to be polled, would I tell the truth?..In this climate, I might not.
After 6 decades living in Austin, Travis County, Texas, I think there’s a good chance TC may go red this Presidential Election.
Hillary is so bad that all my liberal friends are completely nauseated by her.
If Hillary wins Texas the DNCenizens on forums will start talking about how rampant Republican voter fraud in the lone Star State has finally ended.
I am in Manhattan and surrounded by rabid leftists and clueless Millennials and I have seen only one poster for Hillary in an apartment window. Occasionally I see a Trump bumper sticker on cars riding around the city. Enthusiasm for Hillary just doesn’t exist. After Hillary surged in the polls after P*ssyGate, I’ve heard people doing more to talk up Hillary. They buy every bit of disinformation coming out of the media.
For example, I was in a barber shop to get a hair cut last Friday and a customer getting his hair cut starting chirping about how happy he was about Trump imploding and one of the barbers chimed in to agree with him. After talking awhile the barber over looked at me sitting in the next barber chair and said, “He’s not talking. He must be a Trump supporter.” I replied, “I don’t like to talk about politics.” They were sort of stunned at even that mild level of disagreement. The two of them stopped talking about Hillary and switched to another topic.
HIllaryous.
Quannel X ot Tex has more cred...
> “Hillary is so bad that all my liberal friends are completely nauseated by her.”
But I bet they believe Michelle O’s speech against Trump is one of the greatest speeches in history.
Smart move, not a good idea to talk politics with a liberal, while they hold items that can cut and shave with.
