Call me cynical - but I wonder how much of these Wikileaks e-mails are really getting thru to the American public.
Whether we want to admit it or not, there’s a load of voters who still ge their information from the MSM. if the MSM isn’t reporting it properly (or even reporting it all), the e-mails almost don’t seem to exist.
It almost goes without saying that if Wikileaks were releasing e-mails linked to a GOP candidate, the MSM would be riding this 24-7.
I just don’t know what we could do to get this in front of the American people - TV ads, full-page newspaper ads, mailings, etc.
But it is disappointing and more than a little disheartening to see this major issue being glossed over by the MSM.
First one I read shows them coordinating with Haim Saban of Univision.

Suggest WJC think very carefully about a strategy of literally ignoring Trump when he campaigns in Iowa and New Hampshire. It will take more discipline than politicians usually have, but it might be the most powerful and effective strategy.
Trump is very predictable. The media is very predictable, they will megaphone Trump taking cheap shots at WJC. My suggestion would be for WJC to have ready a litany of “responses” such as “Hillary and I spend a lot of time discussing how to create huge numbers of new jobs and get wages higher and lift up the poor to join the middle class...........” The one thing that WJC has, that nobody else has, is that he is a very highly regarded and very successful former president....this is platinum in our politics today.....
Trump will try to draw him into a give and take....ignore him and keep reverting to the big issues where HRC has something to offer the voters that they care about and WJC is the proof positive than she can do it, because they have both done it before....
Sooner or later someone in the media will overreach quoting Trump against WJC.....the media is about as popular as the bird flu, but no need to attack the media to make the point.....WJC can deflect with a light touch.....look Chuck our country has a lot of people who want good jobs and higher wages and a better standard of living and I know what it’s like to be president be responsible for lifting them up....and Hillary knows because she was there with me, she was my full partner when I was president, and she has been doing it herself in every job she’s every had throughout her lifetime.....we’re choosing a president, not a supporting actor in a reality TV show, and I hope you guys in the media get it but either way that’s what I’m going to talk about....let Donald talk about whatever he wants to, I always appreciated his support when I was president and Hillary appreciated his support when she was Senator....and Donald can talk about what he wants to, and we’ll talk about the things we care about.... and we’ll trust the voters to decide the kind of president they want.......

So this email explains that: “To be clear, there are and will likely remain only two parties who can release the full 55k: State and us. Nobody else will have them. Gowdy will only end up with what’s relevant to his committee, which won’t grow that much beyond what he has. Probably not get anywhere close to 500.”
Which seems to mean that STATE had all 55k emails at some point and didn’t turn them over to Gowdy.
