I have been listening to Rush for years. I am also a 24/7 member. I have never heard him say anything that indicates that he is a never Trumper. Frankly, I'm am not sure what you think you heard but you are definitely mischaracterizing his beliefs. If Rush is in reality a never Trumper, he is doing a totally terrible job of promoting his beliefs and convincing other to join him.

If you are honest and have some integrity you will check out what he is saying now. Or you can continue to malign him.

You need to go back on the Rush threads and see just how happy /s folks are with him.

I can give you the skinny on Rush Limbaugh’s reporting of Trump during the primary, but frankly we need men like Rush. He does serve his audience’s needs, and I think his favoring of Cruz was due to patriotism.

Rush was never brazenly anti-Trump [frequenly defended him], but he did favor Cruz over Trump, and for the most part I respectly disagreed until Rush tried to portray a convention rebellion [by delegates] as ‘victory’. That was a mistake. He did not realize how that would be perceived. When he did, Rush tempered his remarks.

He tried to egg on callers to Trump bash a few times. He sometimes got tricked by a Cruz phone bank [that’s how it seemed to me anyway] but the phone bank tactic always led to a massive pro-Trump backlash.
