Hillary Clinton is consolidating a substantial lead over Donald Trump less than a month before Election Day, picking up support from women and swing voters as the Republican nominee navigates a roiling sex scandal, a new Wall Street Journal/NBC News poll finds.
Heading into the final presidential debate in Las Vegas on Wednesday, Mrs. Clinton led Mr. Trump by 11 percentage points among likely voters, 48% to 37%, a big jump from the six-point edge she held in mid-September.

The WAPO is D+8, Fox D+9, Reuters D+12, NBC D+12. I don’t know what Exonomist is or LA Times.

Yeah that strikes me as unbelievable. What in the world would independents be afraid that SCOTUS justices would do against their interests?
When did questions like “dealing with issues of concern to women” start showing up in these polls? Or the “temperament” question? Obviously these were never asked until this election.
That and many older folk have little to no understanding of how the Democrat party has changed and is no longer the party of JFK in any way. Either they are oblivious to the language of the left or the frog has been boiled so slowly that they don’t feel bad about the switchover of the platform to the radical left.
If NBC has Clinton +11 for last poll then two things are at play. They are getting ready for massive cheating. Or preparing to use it to invalidate a Trump win. Obama won in a landslide in 2008 and beat McCain by 7 points. Hillary can’t draw a fly to her once a week rallies, goes into hiding for weeks at a time. This is such a rigged election.
So what that means is that Trump is scoring slight HIGHER than Romney did with the same pool of voters.
Now one wonders about turnout...which candidate in this pool is more likely to get his/its voters out? I suspect Trump, as he has given people a reason to vote for him and plenty of reasons (not that they’re needed) to not vote for Cousin It - whereas It’s still has not conveyed a single reason to vote for it (i.e., how will it improve improve things if elected?).
When I saw 11 points, I didn’t think that was any hope left, but clearly there is - because of that internal. Thanks for finding it!
I did too, because of the results being published by Gallup, a firm that has been polling presidential elections successfully since 1936. They had it 49% Romney, 48% Obama. Gallup has since given up on presidential election polling.
I would suggest that if Gallup has concluded that accurate presidential election polling can't be done in 2012 using 1936 methodology, that one should be wary of ALL polls in 2016 that are still using 1936 methodology.
The RCP graphic I posted was simply their compilation of polling data from various other outlets, showing that the average was nowhere near the 11-pts of the bogus NBC poll. Rather, the average was just FIVE (5) pts. That was the reason I posted it. And if the average lead is only 5, after all the recent attacks on Trump from the Hillary camp, I'd say he and Pence are in excellent shape. ie, they took their best shot and apparently came up well short.
They worship their beloved Republican Party and put it above God, family and country. To hear them tell it they are principled “conservatives” in reality they are mostly bought and paid for Party drones. Sad...
If anything, the WikiLeaks have shown that the government is corrupt top to bottom and cannot be trusted on anything!
There is a portion of them that are only casually involved in political discourse and considerations — like low information voters of all age segments.
There are also highly educated that have drank the kool-aid of equivalency for the modern left. They see the EU style democratic-socialism as equally satisfactory as a system of government. They do not understand the Armed Doctrine for the road to oblivion that it is. They are longing for the plush prosperity of the Clinton/Newt 90s and giving all the credit to Clinton.

Actually,I don’t believe the great numbers of women voters pro Clinton. Every woman I know is for Trump with the exception of one. Take a look at the Trump crowds and you will plainly see that the enthusiastic rally people are not all men, but are of every ethnic group and women are very well represented. Group after group of women are supporting Trump. Where do the media people get the idea Trump is despised by women? It is simply not the Truth.
