Recently, Fox News execs declared Megyn Kelly to be the longtime leading cable news network’s “future.”
If so, that future doesn’t appear particularly bright…
As the most recent viewership numbers show, Kelly’s program indicates a decided downward shift from Bill O’Reilly’s lead-in program, and then, even more damning for Kelly, is how the ratings jump back up for the Sean Hannity program, even though Hannity should, given the later time slot, have the smaller audience.
Hannity has made clear his support of Donald Trump, while Kelly has for the past year, taken to filling her one-hour show with anti-Trump guests and rhetoric.
It would appear that stance is now taking a considerable toll on Kelly’s ratings – and Fox’s bottom-line. She is now in second place for her time slot behind MSNBC’s Rachel Maddow, a seemingly inconceivable result that has now become reality.

I haven’t watched her show since they demoted Hannity to 10pm and gave her the cushy 9pm time slot. Shew was all but banished after her stupid stunt at the first primary debate last year and her fake grovelling to win back viewers by schlepping to Trump towers for an interview never passed the sniff test. Glad she is going down and soon she may be Rachel Maddows personal assistant if she keeps up the Trump bashing.
One America News has replaced Fox for me over the past year!
Fox news has been my “go to” source for all of my TV news for many, many years. I watched it every day and kept the TV on all day in my office to see the latest breaking news.
Now, I stare at a black screen, the TV turned off, and absolutely will not watch that bitch spew her liberal hatred of Trump all over the screen. That goes for the rest of the “politically neutered” reporters on FOX too.
No need going to the national news either for the ALL are in the “tank” for Hillary and the efforts to destroy the America I once knew.

Sean had become unwatchable there for a while during Romney’s candidacy when he was parroting RNC talking points. Now that he has been clearly in opposition to mainstream republicans, he is more interesting and compelling. Me-again has clearly taken up defense of the sisterhood irrespective of the facts on the table.
DVR your preferred news programs whether you actually watch them or not. That data is sold to the network through cable companies to augment Neilson watcher results.
You’re watching on cable, so they know what the tuner is on regardless if you television is displaying the picture. Before you turn it off, deliberately change to something like the Weather channel or NASCAR racing or your favorite other channel to make sure Meagan doesn’t get credit for the signal you aren’t watching.
I’m watching “Gotham” on Netflix instead o FNC, of which I used to be a regular watcher.
Kelly’s “base” was mostly Americans fed up with today’s Republicans who never lift a hand against Obama...they fully fund him. She turned against Trump to make a name for herself and that was fully opposed by this demographic. I don’t think this is a boycott...it is a choice not to watch her. She talks like Maddow, wears a dyke haircut like Maddow...if you are into the Dem rhetoric, why watch Kelly when you can watch Maddow and see the real thing?
Wouldn’t it be cool if, in five years, she’d be sleeping under a bridge next to her shopping cart? Traitors deserve no mercy.
Good!! Pretty sad when the Mad Cow is beating you. I hope everyone is boycotting Hume’s show too since they fired Gretta. He’s a Jeb Bush buddy with a whole pant full of butt hurt against Trump. Lou Dobbs is opposite and he is excellent.

You should cut cable. There is an entire industry “support group” (haha) that is designed to provide more, better, and cheaper content than cable. They call themselves Netflix, Hulu, etc., and they work very well.
