Why? Because, in the final analysis, the polling companies cannot be wildly inaccurate when results come in and a candidate is elected.
Their accuracy, reputations, future business....indeed, their very existence as a successful business, can be shattered to pieces if they're way off the mark a week or so before Nov. 8 and, of course, at the end....(like they are off the mark now).
So, take heart when it comes to polling!

Not this year. First, most of the polling companies are now wined by the “news” businesses; Second, they see Trump as fundamentally a different threat. He’s like what Michael Beihn said in “The Terminator”-—”He doesn’t feel pain, he doesn’t feel pity, he just keeps coming.”
They will burn themselves down because they figure if Trump wins they are finished anyway.
IIRC there was made poles of 1000 people in all 50 States and DJT were far ahead of the W.H. thief (stealing the silver ware, etc.)!!!
