Donald Trump’s campaign says a British man is countering claims that the GOP presidential nominee groped a woman on a cross-country flight more than three decades ago.
The man says he was sitting across from the accuser and contacted the Trump campaign because he was incensed by her account — which is at odds with what he witnessed.
“I have only met this accuser once and frankly cannot imagine why she is seeking to make out that Trump made sexual advances on her. Not only did he not do so (and I was present at all times) but it was she that was the one being flirtatious,” Anthony Gilberthorpe said in a note provided to The Post by the Trump campaign.
In an exclusive interview arranged by the campaign, Gilberthorpe said he was on the flight — in either 1980 or 1981— where Jessica Leeds claimed Trump groped her.
Gilberthorpe, 54, said he was sitting across the first class aisle from the couple and saw nothing inappropriate. Leeds was wearing a white pantsuit, he said, while Trump was wearing a suit and cuff-links, which he gave to his British flight companion.
Indeed, Gilberthorpe claimed, Leeds was “trying too hard” in her attempt to win Trump over.
“She wanted to marry him,” Gilberthorpe said of Leeds, who apparently made the confession when Trump excused himself and went to the bathroom.
There was no kissing, but the “shrill” Leeds was “very much in your face” with the real estate developer.

“The guy in the seat across the aisle could see. And I kept thinking, maybe the stewardess is going to come and he’ll stop, but she never came,” Leeds told CNN.
That allegation infuriated Gilberthorpe, a retiree living in northwest England, who said, “That I sat there — eyes bulging — and not intervening is nonsense.”

I solicit the opinion of female type FReeper girls on this comparison:
- The obvious intent of the now-infamous “locker room talk” by Trump was to boast of his attractiveness to women, a put-down to the rest of mortal man who can only dream of having women manifest excitement to be in our presence.
- I have read that beauty pageants are actually for women, and that the Miss America pageant is actually a super bowl for women - on women’s competitive battleground, feminine attractiveness.
- Taking that to be true, we have “octopus girl” “complaining” that a billionaire businessman could not resist her beauty and threw propriety to the winds in public in daylight, physically expressing lust for her for 15 minutes. Begging the obvious question as to why she waited 15 minutes - never mind decades - to go public, the clear implication seems that her “complaint” is actually a boast.
How far off base am I?
Krauthamer said a few minutes ago this remark by Trump means he would have never assaulted this woman because of her looks. Thats not the way I took it all. Krauthammer has always despised Trump.

Rush had a caller today who was a former airline stewardess. She said that one of the claims about the armrest between the seats being removed .. was a lie .. the arms were not able to be removed at that timeframe of flight. Also, she couldn’t figure out how the woman got seated next to Trump .. because in those days, it was much more private than it is now. They even had a curtain which was usually pulled after the person was settled in their section; making them not visible to others. And, the ex-stewardess was also wondering how the woman got seated next to Trump in the first place.
That was very interesting.
I don’t know about anyone else, but this election I am very much voting AGAINST THE MEDIA as much as I am voting against the female boss of the DBMSM propaganda machine. NO Trump was not my fav but he gets my vote for TAKING ON THE MEDIA which no republican has ever had the gonads to do.
