IT is NOT a woman problem... It is a national problem, I have a male in-law, born bred Catholic, undergrad Notre Dame, who will vote for Hillry... because he is a wimp. Fortunately, his wife will cancel his vote as she is an American, Constitutional loving Trump supporter.

On the holy spirit being the written word:

On what basis do you say that? I seem to recall JC saying when he was gone G-D the father would send the holy spirit. I have also heard it called the great comforter or something to that effect.

I also seem to recall reading in acts that at various times the holy father saw the holy spirit descend into a person or made visible within that person or words to that effect.

No challenging scripture as being useful for instruction, but it seems some folks are substituting scripture for the Holy Sprit.

Nice try, but you’re wrong.

Why do you think big media and the Dems focus ONLY on women and use irrelevant, nonsensical, emotional appeals? Because they know that, in the main, women are emotional beings and can be led by the nose easily.

Sure, there are exceptions, but not enough.

I have never cared for the woman either. I have known a multitude of sisters in Christ who flock to her meetings. Maybe God was telling me 20 years ago that she’s a flake.

Forget to mention:

since scripture was not written down until 30 to 60 years after JC died, the discussion of the holy spirit in acts and latter books predates scripture, at least as we know it.

Some of the most religious persons I know have described some kind of insight or communication by the Holy Spirit. Oddly enough the thing that seems to be consistent on all these stories is that the description of the interaction is remarkably similar, basically a thought that is delivered into their mind whole, beyond anything they could have come up with, and resolving the issue they had at hand that was vexing them. More than a few have described this interaction being the basis of their faith.

The church we used to attend had meetings for women full of Beth Moore worship. We found another church.

She was sexually abused as a child. I know that has nothing to do with even the accusations against Trump, but it could mean she has an emotional response to the talk.

Not defending her! Just giving additional information.

I do not know exactly why, but something about that image initiates my “do not go near” instinct.

Just to be clear, nowhere in the article does it say she would vote for Hillary or otherwise support her. You might be able to infer indirect support by denouncing Trump, but not directly.

3 thoughts:

1. I am thinking... A-P-O-S-T-A-T-E

2. How can any Christian support a woman who wants to decimate the Constitutional guarantees with 3 or 4 Supremes.

3. How can any true Christian support a live/partial-birth abortion advocate like Clinton?

Doesn’t matter who’s behind the manipulation. The fact is they target women because that is who are the easiest to manipulate.

And they can be whipped up into such an emotional frenzy that they’ll work to elect the one person who will put the final nails in the coffin, and turn us into another Europe. Rapes, sexual assaults, etc.

Heck, women can even be talked into killing their own children. Did you know that American women have killed more than 50 million of THEIR OWN children since 1973?

Even the most savage of beasts don’t kill their young for the purposes of convenience.

John 1:1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.

In the beginning is 'Genesis'... That would make Genesis forward part of the Gospel of Christ. Christ quoted the prophets in nearly every instruction He gave. Christ was in the Garden of Eden, symbolized as the 'tree of life'... He knew first hand what the prophets penned. The Comforter (Holy Spirit) was NOT sent/given until Acts. No way will the Holy Spirit ever contradict the WORD.

Perhaps Ms. Moore should go to a Beyoncé concert with Michelle and Michelle’s daughters.

Beth Moore? Oh, no! I have no idea who she is, and probably just as well.

You cannot have it both ways. The deceiver is far more culpable than the deceived. You want to know WHY the notion of taking the life of one own off- spring was made so easy... Check out the TOE... Evolution destroys the sanctity of life. Its origins come from the notion, of a hot steaming pot of primordial soup, a single cell got all hot and bothered and reproduced its self.

AND the boys get a pass, for sowing their oats, and the girls gets to carry the slut necklace. Men wanted 'equality' just as much as the women did... IF the men were so concerned about abortion they would keep their junk in their pants.
