In a March 4, 2015 email to Hillary Clinton's lawyer Cheryl Mills, Clinton's eventual campaign chairman John Podesta asks if they should withhold email exchanges between Clinton and President Obama that were sent over Clinton's private server.
The day before Podesta sent his email to Mills, the House Benghazi Committee privately told Clinton to preserve and hand over all her emails. (The FBI report on Clinton's emails notes on Page 18 that on March 3, 2015, the United States House Select Committee on Benghazi provided a letter to the law firm Williams & Connolly requesting the preservation and production of all documents and media related to the email addresses hdr22@clintonemail.com and hrcl7@clintonemail.com.)
The email from Podesta to Mills, titled "Special Category," reads: "Think we should hold emails to and from potus? That's the heart of his exec privilege. We could get them to ask for that. They may not care, but I(t) seems like they will."

I still cannot figure out a good reason for Hillary to have had a private server for state business unless it was to keep things hidden, or unless the state email was down all the time.
Oh but Obama didn’t know about her private server. Seems complicit in a huge cover up.
Follow this string...it could unravel the entire cover-up...and implicate the White House in Comey’s whitewash directly.

It is very clear to me she was ordered to by the Obama administration. I believe the entire White House administration had private emails, with many also having fictional names too.
She simply added her own server, so I strongly suspect POTUS of having one too. Who hosts the prouse@barackobama.com address for example?

History will show the Clinton Corruption to be epic on the same scale as Teapot Dome or Spitzer, Edwards, Condit, Blago or any others.

I need to become more computer literate, more familiar with the terms of communication and expected protocol. I’m wanting to know why this is a big deal that two Dems would ask such hypothetical questions between themselves?

If her sever got hacked his emails to her got hacked.

When you investigate public corruption cases its like pulling a piece of yarn through a tiny hole in the wall that is u raveling a sweater....you never know where the investigation is gooing and you have nonidea when the last bitnof yarn is coming through.
The risks of exposing friends while going after enemies is extremely high.
Some say Comey is in the middle of the corruption.

There was a subpeona from congress to turn over the emails. Hillary’s team would know that Obama would claim executive privledge for himself and everyone wor him (excluding him from turning anything over)
Hillary’s team was debating internally whether to destroy evidence (obama and admin’s incoming emails) which is show in this wikileak.
They would have a duty to provide those emails as they do not have executive privledge for emails across a private server after she left the Sec. of State job.

Because it would incriminate Obama. Bill Clinton confronted Loretta Lynch on her aircraft in Phoenix as if she had arrived home to find him sitting on the couch when she turned on the light: You take Hillary down and she takes your boss down. Simple as that. Fix this.
Just like he fixed or had fixed is Arkansas dealings (Mena, Tyson, etc.).
To add to your post. You can’t claim executive privilege to cover up a crime. Nixon tried that. Of course the rule of law ONLY applies to Repugs, never Dumbcrats.
