@JackPosobiec SCOOP: The DC Beltway is livid at Trump today. House staffers are telling me they all actually thought Trump would drop out this weekend
RNC leaders were telling members that after the tape leaked that Trump would drop out so they all needed to unendorse him first
So now its chaos, members were told Trump was dropping and Pence was taking over so that's why so many publicly attacked Trump
But now Trump is staying in, and after his strong debate performance and solid support levels they are worried they just screwed themselves
The establishment plan was Pence would take the top of the ticket, lose, and then run Ryan-Rubio 2020. But Trump thwarted the coup attempt
Think this through, they are so into their power and against the American people having a say, they staged a coup and would have handed the election over to the dems just to save their power in the New World Order. The power brokers are not going to let Trump win. This has become a banana republic.
Bkmrk.
WHEN the old Whig party failed, the Republican Party was formed. Perhaps it is time to move on as the Republican Party now seems to be dead in the water.
Meanwhile, the Democrats lurched to the Left. Now there is no difference between them and the communist party.
You become very myoptic when you live in a bubble. The chattering classes within the beltway have no idea on what is really happening in the country.
Trump is not Romney. His supporters are far more energized.
And the polls that had Romney behind were generally in the range of D+4. And we all thought it would be closer to E to D+2 (that was the reskew deal).
The polls at RCP range are averaging around D+7-8. Obama in 2008 got a D+7 turnout on a change election. Not happening with Hillary in 2016. I think it will be a D+2 or so and Trump wins.
And she wouldn't have roped BILL *and* Obama *and* Al Gore into all campaigning for her at the same time -- with Gore on open mic begging the youth not to vote for Johnson since Nader cost him 90,000 votes in Florida and with it, the election.
Those GOP elitist putschists are worried for the right reasons, it seems.
Hang all coup plotters.
oh that’s very possible.
Personally I would be pissed with the rino leadership not Trump. High school girls can come up with a better coup than this.
Well said, the turnout models are likely wrong. Also, I think a LOT of dems will vote for Trump. Reagan was way behind at this point also in 1980. The voters are going to throw another “tantrum” and throw the bums out!
This is the American version of the end of communism in Russia.
Or at least closer to that than Brexit.
We are no a republic anymore. We have a govt that does what it wants and a media that obeys.
That’s aint freedom
Bullshit.
It absolutely is true. Didn’t you see ALL the pre-planned Ryan announcement? Romney, McCain, all of them.
This was a coup attempt by the GOP to thwart the voters.
The GOP establishment/Uniparty wants Hillary over Trump.
Hillary is one of them.
Trump is the end of them.
Believing this lets you proceed forward accordingly.
Romney isn't remotely a comparison, the polls ALL are lying, and Trump's WAY ahead in reality.
I think that about covers it.
If Trump loses....
YOUR VOTE WILL NEVER MATTER AGAIN.
A million Muslims will replace your vote. 10-20 million illegal aliens will replace your vote.
THIS IS THE LAST FREE ELECTION (SUCH THAT IT IS) THIS COUNTRY WILL EVER HAVE.
This is our Brexit.
We vote to exit globalism and the Uniparty.
Or Hillary is elected, appoints 2-3 Supreme Court justices, legalizes aliens to secure ALL future votes.
Our Republic is at stake in this election.
I see parallels to the Soviet collapse.
20 trillion in debt. Another 60 trillion in unfunded liabilities. It’s intentionally unsustainable.
Collapse the system. Then in the crisis recreate what they want - open borders, no gun rights for citizens, brown out the aging white population, criminalize Christianity, etc.
There will be more big reveals from both sides.
Honestly my primary concern are female voters. We had a big gap with Romney with women and Trump’s is even larger.
We need those that haven’t voted or have been alienated from the rigged system to show up like they never have.
You nailed it.
Thanks for posting that interview! Sums it up.
The LA Times / USC poll was the most accurate in 2012.
Just before the election, they had Obama winning by 2.6 points. He won by 3 point something.
On Monday, Trump was ahead in this poll 3.1, down to 2.0 on Tuesday.
Not perfect, but better than the cooked NBC poll.
