Jonathan Gruber, an MIT economics professor and an architect of Massachusetts health reform and the Affordable Care Act, has been out of the spotlight for months. But Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump just dragged him back into it.
During Sunday night’s debate, Trump brought up Gruber by name, saying that health care reform, colloquially called Obamacare, was a scam.
“You know that, because Jonathan Gruber, the architect of Obamacare, was said — he said it was a great lie, it was a big lie,” Trump said. “President Obama said you keep your doctor, you keep your plan. The whole thing was a fraud, and it doesn’t work.”

Isn’t he a big boy?? He’s a big enough boy to help usher through a radical overhaul of how healthcare works, a big enough boy to have been in that political battle. But now poor little guy, his feelings are hurt........

Gruber isn’t very bright. Trump was just quoting what he said on video. He should just shut up and slink away.
This is a good development. Gruber is such a hateful figure that the optics for Trump are enhanced by any publicity of Gruber.
I only question how could MIT let someone like Gruber ascend through the professor ranks. The only answer I can think of is corruption. He seems to be mediocre in just about everything I’ve read of his. And without doubt, his ethics are so questionable that MIT should dismiss him immediately. I would bet that MIT was considering that very thing which is why Gruber went into hiding from the political circles.
So Gruber! C’mon down!
Gruber is a no-good progressive socialist liar. His Obamacare is nothing more than “Legislated Cloward-Piven”. Criminals and traitors always lash out when caught...

An architect of the federal healthcare law said last year that a “lack of transparency” and the “stupidity of the American voter” helped Congress approve ObamaCare.
Gruber is the kind of scum sucking vacuous academic that epitomizes what is wrong with the self-styled “intelligentsia” — dishonest, lightweight, over-rated, self-important, and inept.
The fact that he was ever allowed anywhere near policy making on such a massive scale is a permanent blight on the Democrap Party.
Well....yeah.....that and the little strip of hair that stood up on the back of Gruber’s neck when he realized the Special Prosecutor Trump mentioned, could start checking into HIS involvement in the ACA scam.

Gruber is a disgrace to MIT and to himself.
He cynically hid key aspects of the ACA program, publicly called the electorate stupid, and enriched himself by overbilling for work done not by him, but by his graduate assistants.
You’d think he’d keep his mouth closed, but since he thinks the electorate is stupid and forgetful, why should he?
Gruber is on tape several times saying just that. Besides you don’t need to be a rocket scientist or a MIT professor... most Americans have now figured out Obamacare was a scam
